Out now for the PC, and Xbox 360 is the 2nd map pack for Crysis 2 titled, Decimation. It will be released for the Playstation 3 on June 28th. The pack will include 5 new maps and 2 new weapons. I do wish more games would include new weapons with DLC, so bravo Crysis! The pack will include the maps: 5th Avenue, Chasm, Plaza, Prism, and the Apartments. The 2 new weapons include smoke grenades and the FY71 Assault Rifle. You can check all those out in the trailer below.

Crysis 2′s first map pack titled Retaliation will be coming out in just 1 short week on May 17th for the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. New maps will include Park Avenue, Transit, Shipyard, and Compound which you can see in the video below.

This has been a good month for shooter fans. Earlier this month we got the controversially marketed Homefront and today the long anticipated followup to 2007′s visual juggernaut Crysis is finally here. The Crysis series is most well-known for its incredible visuals, and its in this department where Crysis 2 excels. But crazy realistic effects and high polygon counts aren’t enough to sustain interest in a game, it also has to have a gripping story, compelling characters and for shooters specifically, a finely tuned arsenal of weapons.

So, I played the Crysis 2 multiplayer demo. It’s AWESOME. I love it. Having the suit puts a whole new spin on multiplayer. I really recommend anyone who hasn’t given it a shot yet to download it. Any who, check out this bad ass “Be Fast” trailer below.

I’ve recently fallen for the videos I have watched of Crysis 2, and most recently the video below. The game is looking incredible, and now I’ve gotten even more excited for the multiplayer. The fact that you have tons of awesome weapons you can use, and the amazingness of the suit all in one makes it look that much more fun to play. Also, take note of how incredible the maps look.. In fact, I’m going to go play it right now. You can too, go download the multiplayer demo.

I have to admit. I never played the original Crysis, nor did I or do I know anything about it. I really don’t know anything about the 2nd game either. However, after watching the trailer below, and a few other, I’m throwing my money into the ring for this game.

Crysis 2 is a paltry two months away, less than that even, but if you find your impatience getting the better of you I suggest watching this rather sexy new trailer for the game. It’s also important to note the game’s demo is out now on the Xbox 360 so if you’re still on the fence about whether or not you like controlling a badass dude who curb stomps aliens you can see if it’s your cup ‘o tea.
