Megadeth Announce Release Date For ‘TH1RT3EN’

Megadeth have made it official: TH1RT3EN, their 13th studio album, will be released on Nov. 1st! The new album features 13 blistering tracks from the thrash metal legends and will be the first album with bassist David Ellefson recorded since 2002′s Rude Awakening.

Dave Mustaine says “This record is the culmination of my work over the 13 records I recorded. There are moments on TH1RT3EN that capture my every emotion, and other moments where I am releasing feelings I never knew existed!  My proudest moments of my musical career are captured on TH1RT3EN.”
Having just seen the guys this past Saturday at the Detroit Rockstar Mayhem Energy Fest, I’m really looking forward to the new album! The guys rocked a new song called Public Enemy No. 1 and it had all the markings of a classic Megadeth track. Check out a live version after the jump.
