In the film a 17-year-old boy learns that he’s a werwolf during a hot date. After waking up and finding his family dead, he flees to New England where he takes shelter. Each night animals around the town are being slaughtered, which pits the lead against a group of creatures that leads to a big government conspiracy.
Hayter’s “Demonology” grew out of his experiences attending an international high school in Japan.
“It’s about an American kid who goes to one of these schools in Belgium, but it brings my own horrible experiences of school to life,” Hayter said.
A werewolf-thriller. Hayter said he hatched “Slaughter’s Road” after he was offered a slew of werewolf movies and found enough flaws in each to never want to make such a pic; genre-savvy friends changed his mind.
Cayden Richards, 18, has it all: Captain of the high school football team; straight-A student; gorgeous girlfriend. “Deadworld” veers from the popular zombie mythology of depicting an apocalypse in which humans are overrun by flesh-eating corpses. “Deadworld” picks up four months after that event, where the Dead overtake the Earth, with humans few and far between. Protag is King Zombie, a Harley-riding corpse who holds a grudge against the survivors who made him an outcast.
‘The Devil’s Mile’ follows a trio of kidnappers who take an ill-advised detour en route to deliver their hostages — two teenage girls — to their mysterious and powerful employer. When they accidentally kill one of the girls during a botched escape attempt, their simmering mistrust explodes into shocking violence. But what they thought was their worst case scenario is only the beginning, as they are engulfed by the hellish forces that haunt the road — a road they realize they may never escape. Now captors and captive must fight together to escape the monstrous forces pursuing them and somehow survive… THE DEVIL’S MILE.
We now have the first official stills from Wolves, David Hayer’s horror pic starring Jason Momoa (Conan, “Game of Thrones”), Stephen McHattie (Watchmen, Pontypool), Merritt Patterson and X-Men‘s Lucas Till.

Stephen McHattie (pictured above; 300, Watchmen, A History Of Violence) has joined Jason Momoa, Merritt Patterson and Lucas Till in the cast of Wolves, the werewolf thriller from writer/director David Hayter, per Variety.
In the film, “Till will portray an 18-year-old who’s forced to hit the road after the death of his parents and finds his way to an isolated town to hunt down the truth of his ancestry — giving rise to the question of who’s hunting whom.”
Copperheart Entertainment, French financier-sales agent TF1 Intl. and Telefilm Canada will co-finance Wolves. Igor Studios’ Dave Elsey is designing the original creatures for Wolves He created “Beast” for X-Men: First Class, for which he won a Saturn Award.
Wolves starts shooting on Thursday near Toronto.

David Hayter, known to millions of filmgoers as the screenwriter of the superhero hits X-Men, X2: X-Men United and Watchmen, and to millions of video game fans as the iconic voice of Solid Snake in the “Metal Gear Solid” franchise, is set to return to the screen – this time in front of the camera, playing a lead role in the upcoming independent horror film The Devil’s Mile, currently in pre-production.

The Devil’s Mile is the feature directorial debut of screenwriter Joseph O’Brien (“Robocop: Prime Directives”).
Hayter plays Toby McTeague, the psychotic enforcer for a mysterious and powerful crimelord, who finds his own violent tendencies don’t hold a candle to the terrifying supernatural forces that lurk on the bleak stretch of back road known as The Devil’s Mile.
Joining Hayter on his terrifying journey are Maria Del Mar (“24,” Terminal City, Jekyll and Hyde) and newcomer Casey Hudecki. Handling special makeup and monster effects is Allan Cooke (Resident Evil: Afterlife, Silent Hill, Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer).
