Since the Playstation 4 was just announced they chat it up about that and the upcoming new Xbox. TJ professes his love for Best Buy’s gaming section, and their handy J trade in deals. WHAT?! Nothing. [13 Days Of Horror] Day 13: Don’t Be Scared, It’s Just A Dead Pixels Halloween Podcast

Here we are, at the culmination of a month’s worth of horror movie marathons, haunted housing, candy purchasing, scare pranking, and pumpkin carving. It’s finally Halloween. The last thing I want to do is bum you out on a day like this, but October 31st has always been a little sad for me. Knowing that it all ends tomorrow as we shift gears in preparation of the holiday season makes Halloween bitter sweet, but it isn’t November yet, so let’s enjoy this amazing time of year while it lasts. TJ and I have another spooky Halloween edition of the Dead Pixels podcast for you.

Now, TJ wanted me to make this episode less spooky, because he thought you all couldn’t handle excessive levels of spookiness. Don’t worry, I talked him into keeping the spooky, because I was all like, “Dude, our readers are totally spooky. They love spooky. They crave spooky. They wake up and eat spooky for breakfast before putting their pants on, one spooky leg at a time.” You’re welcome.

[Podcast] ‘Dead Pixels’ Episode 41 Heads To E3

Adam and TJ are back! Again! And they’re here to stay. (We know you missed their sexy sexy voices.) This weeks episode of Dead Pixels is almost all about this year’s E3 convention.

“Resident Evil 6,” “Dead Space 3″ and much, much more are discussed. Adam is left feeling unfulfilled about the entire convention, while TJ feels everything was quite good. (Fight!) But, as usual, the boys get sidetracked and start talking about TV and movies, and Adam drops a couple spoilers as it’s becoming one of his favorite past times. (What a dick.)

You can enjoy the latest “Dead Pixels” after the break, or you can subscribe via iTunes by searching “Bloody Disgusting.” READ MORE

They’ve done it again. Nerded out to the max. The two nerdy masterminds discuss ‘Skyrim,’ and more ‘Skyrim.’ ‘Alan Wake’. ‘Skyrim’. Capcom, ‘Skyrim.’ What I’m trying to say is Adam loves ‘Skyrim.’ Do you love ‘Skyrim’?

Return of the Dead Pixels Podcast, (With An Added Dose of Adam)

Have you been reading my words aloud, trying to match a voice to them so you could more easily pretend what it would be like if I was sitting next to you, late at night, with my hand on your upper thigh? Maybe you picture me uttering Shakespearean dialogue in the velvety tones of James Earl Jones, or with the disarming charm of Nolan North? If you answered yes then look no further, because the Dead Pixels Podcast is back and this time it’s brought with it an added dose of yours truly.

From now on you can expect new episodes of the podcast to go up every second sunday of the month. I suppose those of you who enjoy surprises might not be too fond of the lack of unexpected episodes, but as my grandpa always says, tough shit, (don’t listen to him, he’s a mean dude.) So if you want to hear TJ and I attempt a discussion on video game news like the so-so E3, The Secret World, and Duke Nukem Forever, this might be for you. Sadly, neither of us have great attention spans so we also found ourselves in tangents on Transformers 3, The Human Centipede, and the really fucking tasty Mountain Dew: Pitch Black. More from TJ past the break. READ MORE

Dead Pixels: The Official Game Worldwide Debut

TJ and I have had a top secret project in the works for some time and despite our shared inability to keep a secret for very long, we’ve somehow managed to keep this from you until it was ready. After years of research and sleepless nights fueled by bitter masturbation and energy drinks, this secret is finally ready to be unveiled now. Ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to introduce you to the video game that’s destined to sweep the nation: Dead Pixels: The Official Game.

1 Dead Pixels: The Official Game Worldwide Debut

What is this, you ask? How could you possibly compete with blockbuster games that have massive budgets and huge teams of creative individuals working on them? Easy peasy lemon squeezy. You see, between the two of us TJ and I have a combined total of nearly a decade’s worth of video game reviews, and who better to create a fun game than the people that know what makes a game good? Nay, great. Will this be as memorable as BioShock? Yes. Will rake in more money than Call of Duty? Of course. Will it get us laid? We desperately hope it will. Head past the break for your first glimpse of Dead Pixels: The Official Game’s box art, just make sure you keep a tissue handy for when you experience your first exploding orgasm upon glimpsing this beautiful piece of art. Dead Pixels Was THE ORIGINAL

Check Out the Official Dead Pixels Youtube Channel

You know what your day is lacking right now? It’s missing a potent dose of video game action that only the official Dead Pixels youtube channel can remedy. Our goal is to have more subscribers then Fred by the end of the year, because no one with a voice like that deserves so many subscribers.

You might be asking yourself why you would need to check out our channel when you already devote hours of your day keeping up to date on everything TJ and I write about with an almost religious vigor. But even the most passionate of our fans aren’t necessarily getting their recommended daily dose of Dead Pixels, which means there’s always room for more. On top of that there’s a plethora of trailers, teasers, gameplay videos and more on our channel that don’t get covered here. So why don’t you add some more Dead Pixels to your day and if you’re feeling extra generous you could show your endless love and devotion by subscribing. It’s what Santa would want you to do. Viva La Review Revolución!

You might have noticed we published our 1000th post today so that’s pretty fantastic, but while we’re celebrating hitting this milestone we realized just how old we’ve become. I mean, blogs come and go and sections of larger sites sometimes fade away, but we’ve been lucky enough to have found a group of people who, like ourselves, enjoy video games and because of that Dead Pixels has actually grown since its inception.

ReviewRevolution Viva La Review Revolución!

However, we refuse to rest on our laurels, and because of that we’re going to be making a few changes and additions here and there. We hope these minor adjustments will improve the quality of Dead Pixels and we also hope they will help keep the site fresh for you, our dead sexy readers. The first of these improvements will be in our reviews, so if you like to agree or disagree with our examinations of video games old and new, let’s talk about what we’re changing. READ MORE

Ultimate Gamer Lounge: Surrounded By Sound & Sumo Edition + A Contest

The theme this week is being surrounded by awesome, whether that awesome comes from an amazing Altec Lansing speaker system or another extraordinarily comfortable hulking mass of beanbag comfort called the Sumo Sway. Oh, and in case you hadn’t caught on already, there’s a contest this week. The prize? How about that kickass professional gaming mouse from QPad?

I think the womb is to blame for the comfy delight we get when we’re surrounded. Something about us trying to recreate the feeling of the womb, or something along those lines. I never did pay attention in Psych class. In an intangible way, sound surrounds us (especially surround sound, but that’s a given) and in a slightly more touchy-feely way, massive beanbags do as well. E3: Dead Pixels Predicts: What We’ll See at E3

Guess what? E3 is in a few days, that’s what. E3 turns the week that holds it into a celebration of all things gaming. This is a time of jaw-dropping announcements, surprising exclusives, system price drops, and incessant fanboy console humping. That last one never stops, it merely peaks during this time of the year.

E3predictionsBanner E3: Dead Pixels Predicts: What Well See at E3

Remember that game I talked about a few weeks back that I boldly claimed could “redefine horror?” Well, next month could shed some light on it, and there are even rumors of new hardware unveilings like the PSP 2 and Nintendo 3DS that may or may not show themselves next week. There’s a lot of games out there just waiting to wow and amaze us, but what about the horror genre? We like games in general but horror is what we’re all about here. READ MORE

Dead Pixels Update

So we here at the Dead Pixels have decide to expand our horizons a bit. Nothing major or serious, and no need to worry, we aren’t going anywhere. But, we will be covering a bit more games. No kiddie type stuff, more in the adultish area of video gaming. Halo, Call Of Duty, things of that nature. Horror is still going to be the main area of coverage, but we wanted to open it up a bit to appeal to more gamers. And to deliver a bit more content to you all especially when the horror gaming is slow.

DP Dead Pixels Update

As far as the lack of Dead Pixels Podcasts, I apologize for that, and we will be making it up to you soon with the 2nd part of our Best Games Of 2009. Also, if you hadn’t noticed, we recently added a search box strictly for the Dead Pixels news section. It’s on the right side more towards the top. If you type in a game you should be able to find most if not all news posted about it, in case you missed anything. READ MORE
