The game wont break your wallet like most with its 3 dollar price point. What’s truly amazing is that CSR Studios who created the game is only made up of one man. Here we are, at the culmination of a month’s worth of horror movie marathons, haunted housing, candy purchasing, scare pranking, and pumpkin carving. It’s finally Halloween. The last thing I want to do is bum you out on a day like this, but October 31st has always been a little sad for me. Knowing that it all ends tomorrow as we shift gears in preparation of the holiday season makes Halloween bitter sweet, but it isn’t November yet, so let’s enjoy this amazing time of year while it lasts. TJ and I have another spooky Halloween edition of the Dead Pixels podcast for you.

Now, TJ wanted me to make this episode less spooky, because he thought you all couldn’t handle excessive levels of spookiness. Have you been reading my words aloud, trying to match a voice to them so you could more easily pretend what it would be like if I was sitting next to you, late at night, with my hand on your upper thigh? Maybe you picture me uttering Shakespearean dialogue in the velvety tones of James Earl Jones, or with the disarming charm of Nolan North? If you answered yes then look no further, because the Dead Pixels Podcast is back and this time it’s brought with it an added dose of yours truly.

From now on you can expect new episodes of the podcast to go up every second sunday of the month. I suppose those of you who enjoy surprises might not be too fond of the lack of unexpected episodes, but as my grandpa always says, tough shit, (don’t listen to him, he’s a mean dude.) So if you want to hear TJ and I attempt a discussion on video game news like the so-so E3, The Secret World, and Duke Nukem Forever, this might be for you. You might have noticed we published our 1000th post today so that’s pretty fantastic, but while we’re celebrating hitting this milestone we realized just how old we’ve become. So we here at the Dead Pixels have decide to expand our horizons a bit. Nothing major or serious, and no need to worry, we aren’t going anywhere. But, we will be covering a bit more games. No kiddie type stuff, more in the adultish area of video gaming. Halo, Call Of Duty, things of that nature. Horror is still going to be the main area of coverage, but we wanted to open it up a bit to appeal to more gamers. And to deliver a bit more content to you all especially when the horror gaming is slow.

As far as the lack of Dead Pixels Podcasts, I apologize for that, and we will be making it up to you soon with the 2nd part of our Best Games Of 2009. Also, if you hadn’t noticed, we recently added a search box strictly for the Dead Pixels news section. It’s on the right side more towards the top.
