I don’t know much about the pen-and-paper Cyberpunk games, but I am officially interested after seeing this debut trailer for Cyberpunk 2077, which is being developed by CD Projekt RED, the developer behind The Witcher franchise. Granted, we don’t see any gameplay in this trailer, which is similar in style to ZombiU’s E3 debut, but it’s still gorgeous. Obviously, this game won’t be of the pen-and-paper variety, but it will feature a futuristic world inspired by Blade Runner, Ghost in the shell, Deus Ex, and even System Shock. Character customization will also be a primary focus for the developer. Watch the trailer below. READ MORE
I loved me some Crysis 2, and while the original is still in my massive backlog of games I still need to play, it might have to wait a little longer so I can stealthily kick some more unsuspecting Ceph butt when Crysis 3 releases early next year. The game’s still about a year out and the praise is already being heaped on top of it with some sites going so far as to say it’s the “The best-looking game we’ve ever seen.” That’s an impressive feat for a title that’s still about a year out. Head past the break for the alien-spanking new trailer, complete with, wait for it… gameplay footage. READ MORE
TJ and I have had a top secret project in the works for some time and despite our shared inability to keep a secret for very long, we’ve somehow managed to keep this from you until it was ready. After years of research and sleepless nights fueled by bitter masturbation and energy drinks, this secret is finally ready to be unveiled now. Ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to introduce you to the video game that’s destined to sweep the nation: Dead Pixels: The Official Game.
What is this, you ask? How could you possibly compete with blockbuster games that have massive budgets and huge teams of creative individuals working on them? Easy peasy lemon squeezy. You see, between the two of us TJ and I have a combined total of nearly a decade’s worth of video game reviews, and who better to create a fun game than the people that know what makes a game good? Nay, great. Will this be as memorable as BioShock? Yes. Will rake in more money than Call of Duty? Of course. Will it get us laid? We desperately hope it will. Head past the break for your first glimpse of Dead Pixels: The Official Game’s box art, just make sure you keep a tissue handy for when you experience your first exploding orgasm upon glimpsing this beautiful piece of art. I really hope you’re not getting overhyped for Dead Space 2 because I have this snazzy new trailer for you to feast your hungry eyes upon. It features the Sprawl space station where the game takes place and if the trailer below is anything to go by the game looks to have shaped up quite nicely.
Pretty cool, right? And in related news it would seem the game will be longer than its predecessor and might not even have load times (so say goodbye to the tram from the original). Pretty impressive. Dead Space 2 releases on January 25th for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. READ MORE
