Cradle Of Filth Cancel N. American Tour

British metal band Cradle Of Filth has announced that they have been forced to cancel their N. American tour due to US immigration issues. The band was going to tour in support of their latest album The Manticore And Other Horrors, which was released last October.

Per their announcement: Cradle Of Filth are really sorry to tell all of their fans that their US tour ’28 Days Closer to Hell’ is going to have to be cancelled, due to US immigration issues beyond the band’s control.

They have been desperately trying to solve these problems, but it has become evident they are not going to be resolved in time for the band to embark on a tour that starts next week.

The band sincerely apologise to all their fans and to the other acts on the tour and want to assure people they have made every effort possible to go ahead with the tour. READ MORE

Meshuggah Announces Tour With Baroness And Decapitated

meshuggah2012touradmatteaser Meshuggah Announces Tour With Baroness And Decapitated
Is this year shaping up for some awesome tours or what? There’s already the Heritage Hunter Tour and now we’ve got The Ophidian Trek Tour, which has Baroness and Decapitated supporting headlining act Meshuggah! You bet your ass I’ll be at St. Andrews Hall on May 16th. If they play Bleed or Pulling Straws At Random, I might end up in the middle of the pit with a thirst for blood. Or the more likely scenario will be me looking rather silly as I headbang far too wildly. Yup, that’s what’s going to happen.
Meshuggah has also announced a new album, Koloss. Full details for that album can be found here. Tour dates for The Ophidian Trek Tour are below.

Decapitated Announce The ’2011 Carnival Is Forever North America’ Tour

In what might end up being the second most evil tour this fall (the first one is here), Decapitated has announced a the 2011 Carnival Is Forever North America tour! Joining them on tour will be Decrepit Birth, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Rings Of Saturn, and The Haarp Machine. This sounds like an insanely brutal tour that might result in a few decapitations, some disembowelments, a virginity or two lost, and three C-sections. I may or may not be the one behind the C-sections…Don’t tell on me, okay?

Check after the jump for tour dates and a message from guitarist Wacek “Vogg” Kiełtyka.

Looking forward to old friends, new friends, borrowed and blue friends, cookouts, dance-offs, smelly people, burgers, long van rides, karate lessons, octopus balls, seedy areas, elastic waistband jeans, laughter and enjoying myself. See you there!!!”
