YouTube user ArtificialFear is a YouTuber that I just found today and he is f*%king incredible! The guy does multilayered metal covers of famous themes from various movies, TV shows, and videogames. Below you can see his covers for Diablo’s “Village Theme”, the opening theme for Dexter, the infamous 1989 Batman theme, as well as the opening for True Blood. The guy is seriously talented and does an incredible job staying faithful to the source material while giving it his own flavor. Oh, and did I mention that most videos have a MediaFire link to download the track? Talk about starting the weekend off right!
Head on down to check out some videos. READ MORE
It finally happened. Sony has revealed the PS4, and whether or not you’re happy about it, it’s what everyone is talking about. We still don’t know what the console itself looks like — personally, I’m hoping for something small, matte, and black. No more fingerprint magnets, please. We’ve only heard of a small number of the games we can expect to see on the console, but if the list so far is any indication, it’s looking way more exciting than the Wii U’s offering so far. After the break I’ve compiled a list of games and some details and trailers to help you decide if the PlayStation 4 has what you’re looking for.
I’m not sure if it’s because of our own morbid curiosity with death or because a world of fire and brimstone sounds supremely badass, but over the years hell has become an incredibly popular destination for video games. Thankfully, this destination is only getting hotter (sorry) over the coming months. Doom 4 is almost definitely going to be revealed at QuakeCon in August, or possibly at E3 in June and Diablo III is finally coming to take me away from my friends and job in just a few short weeks. As a gamer, I’ve been to hell more times than Kratos sand Dante combined and I’ve managed to escape those festering pits mostly unscathed. From the nine circles in Dante’s Inferno to Silent Hill’s Otherworld, here are my ten favorite trips to hell so far.
It’s no secret the world is ending this year. There are just too many ways for it all to come to a crashing halt, whether it’s by alien invasion, zombie infection, nuclear fallout, or any number of other possibilities — the point is, tell your loved ones how you feel because we’re all going to die. While I’m spreading some truth sauce on you, you should know there’s a pretty good chance a majority of us will die slowly and very painfully. You could be eaten alive by the hungry undead, die of radiation sickness, or you could find yourself in an alien’s sex dungeon where it probes you daily until it grows tired of you and blasts you with its Raygun.
Once January 2013 rolls around there probably won’t be many of us left. Our once glorious civilization, founded on the idea that you can call someone a douchenozzle and not get reprimanded because everything you say online is anonymous. However, there is still some hope. Sure, most of us will meet with gruesome deaths, but there are some here that will survive. How long you survive is entirely up to how intelligent, physically fit, and resourceful you are. If you’d like to increase your chances of making it in the inevitable apocalypse, here are ten games coming out this year that can help you out. READ MORE
