Sony Pictures and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment will release Boys Don’t Cry director Kimberly Peirce‘s remake of Carrie on DVD and Blu-ray on January 14th (it’s avail on iTunes starting January 3rd).
Interestingly enough, the Blu-ray includes an alternate ending seemingly attached to the film itself. While I was mixed-positive on the film, the ending bit with the tombstone was pretty bad. Hopefully whatever they’ve got in store for this new finale tops it (it would be mathematically impossible not to).
Chloë Grace Moretz, Julianne Moore, Judy Greer, Alex Russell, Ansel Elgort, Gabriella Wilde and Portia Doubleday all star. Check out the features list below. READ MORE

Christian Svensson, Capcom’s Corporate Officer and Vice President, has taken to the company’s official blog to ask what fans want from the studio regarding their digital releases. The survey is comprehensive, covering pretty much every series the company has developed, from Dino Crisis to Mega Man, Street Fighter, and of course, Resident Evil. If you’ve been patiently waiting for a digital installment in the Resident Evil franchise, like say, a port of Resident Evil: Outbreak or a new Outbreak/multiplayer style RE game, then here’s your chance to let your voice be heard. Interestingly, they also included “New game types in the RE universe (strategy, tactics, RPG, etc.)” in the list of games you can vote for. A Resident Evil RPG, you say? Where can I sign up for something like that?
Update: Thanks to our wonderful readers I have discovered the game IS available in the US. You can get it HERE!
For those of you who have been around BD and more so Dead Pixels know that Final Fantasy VII is my favorite game of all time. Well, you can download the digital PC version now from HERE for €9.99 normally €12.99. The problem for me, is that I, living in the US, cannot download the game. I’ve never been more let down. Head past the break for screens, a trailer, game info, and whatever I don’t give a crap.
