‘Resident Evil: Revelations’ Videos Show Off Rachel Ooze And Lady Hunk

Last month, Capcom unveiled their DLC plans for Resident Evil: Revelations, which recently made its way to the big bad world of consoles. Today, they’ve given us a look at two characters you’ll soon be able to pay to unlock in the game’s Raid mode. The first is Rachel Ooze, an oozified version of Rachel who stars in one of the creepier parts of the game, and Lady Hunk, which… doesn’t really require much explanation.

In related news, the title of my autobiography will be Lady Hunk. Look for it on not a single store shelf later this summer.

DLC For Telltale’s ‘The Walking Dead’ Outed On Steam

Telltale games has been teasing something related to their episodic series based on The Walking Dead. I figured it’d be related to the mysterious project they’re working on to keep us busy until the second season kicks off this fall. If a recent update to The Walking Dead: The Game on Steam proves true, it looks like that’s exactly what they’re teasing.

A recent update on the game’s Steam page reads Walking Dead 400 Days DLC. Add to this the handful of Vine videos Telltale has been posting on their Twitter lately — you can watch them after the jump — and it looks like we may be getting another much needed dose of The Walking Dead very soon.

Capcom Unveils ‘Resident Evil: Revelations’ DLC, Lady HUNK Forgot Her Pants

Get Ready For A New Zombies Map In ‘Call Of Duty: Black Ops II’

Most of us around here don’t care so much for the Black Ops games themselves. But if you’re talking zombies mode, I’m in. I think Treyarch would benefit from at least making the zombies mode available as a cheaper standalone game. Maybe something we could get on Xbox Live or the Playstation Network. Coming April 16th exclusively to the Xbox 360 (Until later released elsewhere) is the Uprising Map Pack. You get four new regular multiplayer maps and one new zombie map called Mob Of The Dead. Head past the break for more map info and a video.

Crystal Dynamics Has No Single-Player DLC Planned For ‘Tomb Raider’

Here’s some unfortunate news for Tomb Raider fans that have been hoping for some single-player DLC — Crystal Dynamics’ global brand director Karl Stewart confirmed in a recent Reddit AMA that “There are currently no plans in place for any Single Player expansions.” They’re instead focused on expanding on the multiplayer offering.

I loved the game, and while its multiplayer was somewhat better than I expected, it’s little more than a temporary distraction. What about you — would you prefer more single-player content, or are you happy with their decision to focus on the multiplayer?

‘Silent Hill: Book Of Memories’ Gets Costumes And A Patch

Today, Konami’s portable experiment Silent Hill: Book of Memories has received a patch based on player feedback that will greatly improve how it plays. No longer will you be penalized for dying during a stage, instead, the stage will restart with your character’s progress intact. A few other tweaks have been made, including less punishing poison traps. Also available today is DLC that brings with it new weapons, forsaken rooms, notes, and doubles the cast of characters, including fan favorites Heather Mason and James Sunderland.

I don’t have the game, mostly because I don’t own a Vita. Anyone here interested in trying the new-and-improved Book of Memories?

‘Dead Space 3′ Returns To Its Horrifying Roots With ‘Awakened’

Isaac Clarke’s latest adventure has proven divisive among Dead Space fans. The move away from dark, claustrophobic corridors, and the introduction of co-op — even optional — has angered fans of the first two games. Personally, I’m all for it. Dead Space 3 wasn’t the strongest entry in the series, but the optional co-op was a welcome addition and it still manages a few scares, even if they are few and far between. With Awakened, we’ll see what happened to Isaac and Carver after the events in the main game. The DLC will return the game to its roots with a focus on the dementia moments which are just one of the side effects of being in close proximity to the Markers — the other being a slow and agonizing death.

Awakened launches on the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 for $10 (800 MSP) on March 12th. Check out a trailer and some screenshots after the break.

Let’s Face It, Dead Island’s DLC Sucked; Here’s How ‘Riptide’ Can Do Better

I’ve shared my love for Dead Island numerous times now. It had its issues, sure, but that didn’t keep it from being a highly addictive zombie game that was alarmingly easy to sink a lot of hours into, especially if you had a few friends to play it with. I’ve talked plenty already about what I think Techland can do to improve the series, even going so far as to borrow a few ideas from the similarly themed Far Cry 3. However, there still an area left that I have yet to cover, and it’s potentially where Techland made their worst mistakes. Let’s talk about DLC.

‘Aliens: Colonial Marines’ Is Getting The Season Pass Treatment, “Bug Hunt” DLC Coming Next Month

This should come as no surprise, but if you’re easily startled, I suggest you sit down. Sega has confirmed that Aliens: Colonial Marines will indeed be getting a Season Pass. It will run you $29.99, or 2,400 MSP, and according to Sega that translates to a 40% discount off what you’d have to pay if you purchased everything it unlocks individually. The post-release support will include four add-ons for the game, the first of which has just been unveiled. It’s called Bug Hunt, and I’ll give you only one guess as to what that will be about, because that’s probably all you’ll need.

If you said it’s a survival mode that throws waves of Xenomorphs at you and your friends, than you were spot on, my friend. Bug Hunt will come with three maps for you to test your survival skills on. I’ve been playing the game for a couple days now, and so far I can say it’s significantly better than AvP, but you’ll have to wait for my review on Tuesday the 12th for more! (I know, I’m such a tease)

‘Black Ops II’ Revolution DLC Brings Us One Step Closer To Getting A Standalone ‘Call Of Duty’ Zombie Game

Seriously, Treyarch, let’s drop this charade. You know it, and I know it — you need to develop a standalone zombie game. Activision recently unveiled some details on the next expansion for Call of Duty: Black Ops II, dubbed Revolution. Unlike the DLC for the previous games in the series, Revolution brings with it a brand zombie spanking new game mode called Turned. In it, players will finally be given the opportunity to play as the undead, who must hunt the lone human. The zombie that takes the poor sap down becomes human and has to defend against the coming hordes. Looks like good fun.

The DLC also adds a bunch of maps, including one called Die Rise, which takes place inside a damaged skyscraper. It’ll have a focus on verticality, so watch your footing when you’re high up. Check out a video preview of the upcoming DLC, after the jump.
