To me, Steve Niles’ (“30 DAYS OF NIGHT”) newest monthly from publisher IDW, “DOC MACABRE”, reminds me of “DEXTER’S LABORATORY” with a huge horror twist mixed in. Whatever it is, it works, and the series is one of my new favorites in the horror/weird science/reanimated dead/sci-fi sub-genre…if that is a sub-genre… In any event you can check out the 6 page preview of the second issue that drops on January 5th if you make the jump. Today publisher IDW announced plans to bring readers yet another title from popular horror scribe (and IDW faithful) Steve Niles (“30 DAYS OF NIGHT”) titled “DOC MACABRE”. Details on the project are still few, but below you can get a first look at the cover art for the first issue as well as the details on the story.
