Swedish metal band Sister Sin have released a new video for “Hearts Of Cold” and we’ve got our hands on several exclusive behind-the-scenes photos from the video shoot! The song comes from the band’s latest release Now And Forever (iTunes). Take a gander at the video and the photos below.
Directed by Eric Richter, the video is a spin on the film Natural Born Killers and the true story of Finnish killers Juha Veikko Valjakkala and Marita Routalammi, who crossed the border over to Sweden and killed a family of three.
Sister Sin will be touring the US with Doro in February as well as embarking on a string of US headlining dates. Tour dates are below. READ MORE
It’s no secret that the Wacken Open Air festival in Wacken, Germany is probably the largest metal festival in the world. Drawing in tens of thousands of people from across the globe, this festival brings some of the biggest names in hard rock and metal as well as showing the more underground, extreme acts that people would otherwise have no chance to see.
Now, the 2013 incarnation of this extremely popular festival is officially sold out. Let me rephrase that in a way that should have a mind-blowing effect on you: Wacken Open Air has sold 75,000 tickets almost one year in advance. There is one set price for tickets ($140) and they are sold on a first come, first served basis for the Aug 1st – 3rd festival. Without knowing the full line up for the show, people have spent $140 plus fees and postage. It’s unbelievable but it also says that Wacken is doing something right. They have been selling out the festival for several years now and it looks like there is no sign of them stopping.
Below is a list of bands that are so far confirmed to play at the show (a TON more will be added over the next months, so keep an eye out at the official website to stay up-to-date) READ MORE
