At Bloody Disgusting, it’s safe to say we’re used to “creepy”. And I would like to say I know what’s scary, and I don’t get the willies from just anything, but this music is creepy with a capital “C”, even to me. Read past the jump for six of the creepiest lyrics I’ve ever heard.

2010 was the first full year of Bloody-Disgusting Music and it’s been one hell of a ride. We’ve worked hard to bring you readers contests, exclusives, reviews, originals and more, all because of our love of music and horror. For me personally, I’ve gotten to hang out with some of the coolest musicians, listen to great albums and write about what I love. Because of all of this, here is a random list of personal favorites from this year in Bloody Disgusting Music.
There are times when an album reviewer has to listen to something that just makes one drop their head into their hands and fight back tears. Not because the music moves us, not because we’ve been waiting so long to hear it, but because the music is really just that bad. Dr. Acula’s ‘Social Event of the Century’ is one such occasion. Just one glance at the album cover (below) is enough to tell you to watch out, this one is a doozy. But what makes it such a bad album? Well, read on to find out.

I Declare War‘s self-produced album, Malevolence, will be released on June 1st as part of the Artery Recordings / Razor & Tie joint venture. The Seattle-based death metal / metalcore band agrees that the new album is their heaviest and most focused record to date. Fans can look forward to a heavy and aggressive album that speaks to a variety of subject matters the band finds corrupt in today’s world.
