[TV] A New Clip From Tonight’s “Hannibal” To Whet Your Appetite

We’ve got another for tonight’s episode 1.03 of NBC’s “Hannibal”, entitled “Potage.”

In the episode, “Jack (Laurence Fishburne) theorizes that Abigail (Kacey Rohl) may have aided her father, Garret Jacob Hobbs (Vladimir Cubrt) in his serial killings against Dr. Alana Bloom’s (Caroline Dhavernas) advice, but at Hannibal’s (Mads Mikkelsen) behest. Abigail is escorted back to Minnesota, where she discovers much violent hostility against her and her family. Things go from bad to worse when a copycat killer murders a friend of Abigail. Hannibal suggests they hide the body to protect Abigail – but secrets come at a cost.

The series focuses on the fledgling relationship between FBI agent Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen), his mentor.” Other key cast members include Lance Henriksen (Near Dark, roughly 8% of horror movies in general), Gillian Anderson (“X-Files”), Gina Torres (“Firefly”), “Wonderfalls”’ Caroline Dhavernas and Ellen Muth (Dead Like Me).

“Atmosphere Is Key” In ‘Dead Space 3′

I can rhyme, now so can we. The Journey Through Terror video series is going very in depth on the Dead Space series as a whole. The latest video Part 3 in the series focuses on atmosphere, the use of mining tools over conventional weapons, Isaac’s suits, and the importance of stasis and kinesis. Check out the video past the break!

‘The Walking Dead – Episode 3′ Is Available Now On iOS

It’s about time. Episode 3 in Telltale Games’ episode series based on The Walking Dead is finally available on iOS devices. Long Road Ahead has so far been my favorite episode of the bunch, and that’s saying something for a quality series like this. It’s an intense roller coaster ride that will leave you emotionally drained and hungry for the next episode, which released on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 last week (it’s also pretty great).

If you’re looking to get your zombie fix, I highly suggest grabbing your iPhone or iPad so you can download Long Road Ahead now. Each episode is $4.99 if you grab them individually, or you can purchase them all for $14.99 and they’ll unlock as each new episode becomes available.

‘The Walking Dead Episode 3′ Review: A Masterful Blend Of Drama And Horror

The third episode in Telltale Games’ post-apocalyptic roller coaster ride The Walking Dead is out now, and wow, is it a doozy. The first episode, A New Day, introduced us to the game’s (mostly) likable cast of characters, then Episode 2 – Starved for Help took everything into an unexpectedly disturbing direction. Now it’s Episode 3 – Long Road Ahead’s turn to drain us emotionally with some of the grimmest storytelling I’ve ever seen in a video game. It’s dark, and as the middle point in the games it successfully manages to set the stage for the final two episodes. There’s also a very good chance this is the best episode yet.

‘The Walking Dead Episode 3′ Could Come As Early As Next Week

Between Sleeping Dogs, Darksiders II, Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition (PC), and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, it’s not like gamers are hurting for exciting new titles right now, but you know what? I still want more. I’m insatiable. The first two episode have been great–if you haven’t already, I suggest reading our reviews of Episode 1 and Episode 2–so I can only hope Episode 3, dubbed ‘Long Road Ahead’, will continue that trend. If the gaming gods are generous, we could find out whether it will or not as soon as next week.

Valve Says No Half-Life 3, Left 4 Dead 3 Or Portal 3 At E3

I’ll try my hardest not to start violently sobbing while I write this, but you can be sure that as soon as I hit ‘Publish’ I’m immediately going to turn off the lights, lie down on my floor and weep silently while singing to myself until the bad thoughts go away. In case you were hoping for some news regarding any of Valve’s unannounced titles like Half-Life 3, Left 4 Dead 3 and Portal 3, it sounds like none of them will be making an appearance at E3 next month. According to Valvetime.net, the disheartening news came from an e-mail exchange with Gabe Newell, who said “We’re not announcing anything. Really. We are not announcing Half-Life 3 or Portal 3 or Left 4 Dead 3.” I’m positive next month will be chock-full of incredible reveals, but this has definitely dampened my mood a bit. How about you? Which of these highly anticipated sequels were you most looking forward to hearing from?
