The full length trailer Resident Evil: Retribution is here and it certainly gives an indication of the increased scope of this project. This installment of the series looks much bigger than previous entries – something I noted in my set visit.

In theaters September 14, “The Umbrella Corporation’s deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. The human race’s last and only hope, Alice (Milla Jovovich), awakens in the heart of Umbrella’s most clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex. Milla Jovovich, star of Resident Evil: Retribution, will be participating in a live global streaming webchat leading up to the launch of the film’s trailer on Thursday, June 14th at 11:00am EDT at the Regal Union Square Cinemas in New York. ScreenCrush.com’s Jordan Hoffman will be moderating. Fans will be able to attend the event by logging on to Facebook and printing out an invitation; admittance will be granted on a first come first serve basis. Fans at home can log on to that same Facebook page to watch the Q&A live; the event is being translated into ten languages worldwide. Fans can also submit their questions online at Facebook for a chance to get it answered live by Milla. The full trailer will be posted after the webchat on the film’s official site.

But we have you guys covered! Or at least 10 of you! All you have to do is shoot us an email at [email protected] and we’ll pick ten winners at random. Promised chills, is the focus of tonight’s double bill. Hell, we even got official Toronto After Dark diapers with a ratings system attached to it. Both films are rated 5 out of 5 diapers!

Beautiful cinematography is the standout in this haunting 15-minute short about a woman coming to grips about having to face her ailing mother.

I’ve been really looking forward to today’s line-up. Considering how strong the shorts have been to this point, anticipation was high for this afternoon’s Shorts After Dark program. Tonight was particularly special considering it was Zombie Appreciation Night in which we got two back to back zombie flicks which includes the World Premiere of War Of The Dead. It was really cool that After Dark was donating a dollar for every ticket sale from tonight’s closer to the Toronto Zombie Walk which happened to be this afternoon. Also, anyone who dressed up as one of the undead, saved an extra $2 for either of the zombie films. Very cool indeed. Both screenings were pretty packed. READ MORE
