Millennium Entertainment has released two clips from the forthcoming DVD and Blu-ray release of Faces in the Crowd starring Milla Jovovich (“Resident Evil”) and Julian McMahon (“Nip/Tuck”). The spellbinding suspense will be available on October 25th on DVD (including a free digital copy) and Blu-ray, as well as digitally.

“Anna (Jovovich) may be the only survivor of serial killer Tearjerk Jack’s horrendous reign, but left with “face blindness,” she is completely unable to identify him – or anyone else. It’s been quite some time since Julien Magnat’s thriller, Faces in the Crowd, went into production. With First Look obtaining US distro, an October 25 DVD/Blu-ray date has been set for the film that stars Milla Jovovich, Julian McMahon, Michael Shanks, David Atrakchi, Sarah Wayne Callies and Marianne Faithful.

“The story centers on a woman (Jovovich) who barely survives an attack by a serial killer and wakes up in hospital with a head injury that leaves her “face-blind.” No longer able to recognize faces, she must navigate a world in which facial features change each time she loses sight of them. All the while the killer is closing in, determined to eliminate the potential witness.”

The 2-minute long trailer is intriguing, but I’m not sure how long the concept can remain engaging. Still, love Jovovich and will see anything she stars in…
