Rain is an old Mortal Kombat character that not many of you would remember. I know I didn’t. He was an unplayable “joke” character in Mortal Kombat 3, and it would seem a lot of fans searched for him but to no avail. He would wear purple and was seemingly named after Prince’s Purple Rain. It would also be later found out he is a prince. Redonkulous.
However, Rain, though he started out as a joke, actually made an appearance in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Moving forward amicably, Rain will be downloadable on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on July 19th. READ MORE
The video below tells you all about how Kenshi got his mysterious powers, blindness, and his kick ass sword. You’ll be able to purchase Kenshi on July 5th for 400 Microsoft Blood Curdling Screams on 360, or $4.99 on PlayStation Network. Also on July 5th will be a free compatibility pack featuring two klassic skins – Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3-inspired Noob Saibot and Smoke.
We already got a chance to see new warrior SKARLET, and she’s going to be pretty hard to top. But I would have to say, a blind fighter who uses telekinesis to cut your ass up with his sword…pretty close.
Skarlet is the 1st of 4 new Mortal Kombat characters that you will be able to buy and kill with. The cost (per character) is going to be $4.99 on the Playstation 3, or 400 Microsoft Total Bullshit Points on the Xbox 360. June 21st the characters will be released, so expect to see the rest quite soon.
Also coming out June 21st are 2 klassic skins for free. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, inspired Cyrax and Sektor. Mortal Kombat is out now on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, and you should probably pick it up seeing as it’s the best MK game ever. READ MORE
