When I was at the San Diego Comic-Con back in July was able to get a glimpse of Hudson from these NECA Aliens figurines but now you can catch a glimpse of a Xenomorph, Hicks and various in-process sculpts from the re-launch of their Aliens product line. Thanks to Collider for the heads up.
Per Neca, “Hicks and Hudson stand nearly 7″ tall and feature over 30 points of articulation!! The marines include signature weapons including the pulse rifle, shotgun, welder, motion tracker, and shoulder lamp. Incredibly detailed and photo realistic portrait sculpts are sure to impress. Last but not least is the all-new Aliens Warrior which stands over 9″ tall and has over 30 points of articulation including a bendable tail, hinged jaw, and sliding inner mouth. This version of the Warrior features the brown costume highlights and a glossy wet appearance.” They followed up, “there will be more than one Hicks and more than one Hudson. Different heads & different accessories. Not all released at once.”

Toymunkey Studios was at Comic-Con last week to debut their new line of Silent Hill PVC statues that will release this December (read: Christmas gift) and as their $150 price tag would suggest, they each look pretty fantastic. The figures include a trio of nurses as well as the iconic Pyramid Head–in related news, I once had a dream where Pyramid Head replaced Bruce Campbell in one of those Old Spice commercials and he was just sitting on a recliner wearing a suede robe smoking a pipe, not giving a shit. Also, that’s totally untrue. I wish my dreams were that great, but for me they rarely stray from a naked me being chased through a purple forest by a horde of neon garden gnomes with Obama faces. You know, the usual. Oh yeah, Silent Hill statues. They’ll be 12″ tall, making them the perfect replacement for those hideous garden gnomes I see littered about people’s yards. Seriously, let’s get rid of those. Their stupid grins and wee beady eyes never fail to send shivers down my spine.
Following their “Walking Dead” Comic Series this fall, McFarlane Toys will be introducing characters from the hit AMC series. The Walking Dead TV Series 1 shambles into Toys”R”Us and comic book stores nationwide this November and includes:
* Deputy Rick Grimes – with revolver, shotgun, walkie talkie, baseball bat, and hand grenade accessories
* Daryl Dixon – with crossbow, hunting knife, fire axe, pick axe, and even a string of squirrels
* Zombie Biter – features a deer meat accessory and a spring-loaded moving jaw
* Zombie Walker – includes a special wind-up feature
The project is set among a group of zombie survivors of an apocalypse who are led by a police officer, Rick Grimes, in search of a safe place to live. The Grimes figure and Zombie Biter are both pretty great looking figs.
