Red Sox Jonathan Papelbon Knocks Drop Kick Murphys’ Ken Casey Off His Feet

Last week, The Claddagh Fund and Drop Kick Murphys‘ held the Rotten Tomato Karaoke Party fundrasier to raise money for children and veterans who are dealing with alcohol/drug addictions. In attendance was Red Sox closer Jonathan Papelbon who threw a tomato at Ken Casey, singer of Drop Kick Murphys, and ended up hitting him so hard, he knocked him right off his feet. Stories like these are a slippery slope as I recognize that we can’t single-handedly save the world. But it’s just so damn heartbreaking when you see a story like this floating around the Web. Bloody Disgusting Music editor Jonathan Barkan pointed us to this website that features “Aidan’s Monsters”. Aidan is a 5-year-old boy who was recently diagnosed with leukemia.
