This Alice In Chains Documentary Kinda Fails In Every Possible Way

Funny Or Die has posted a pretty entertaining “documentary” on the grunge rock band Alice In Chains. Narrated and hosted by Alan Poole McLard, a “Film Studies Professor at a community college” (nope, doesn’t say which one), the documentary follows McLard as he attempts to interview the members of AiC regarding the upcoming release of their latest album, The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here. While the majority of the documentary is McLard chatting with nobodies, some notable musicians do make an appearance, including Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), Kim Thayil (Soundgarden), Lars Ulrich and Rob Trujillo (Metallica), Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses), and more. There’s definitely a chuckle or two to be had in the video below. READ MORE

[Random Cool] Huey Lewis Takes An Axe To ‘American Psycho’

In competition for the “meta of the day” award is this brilliant send-up of American Psycho featuring Huey Lewis and Weird Al Yankovic. Not only does it accurately describe that film’s subtext (or text, as there’s very little “sub” about it) and cultural ascent, it manages to do so using the object – Huey Lewis – of the conversation in the film that it recreates. It’s like an infinite loop.

The addition of Al is a nice touch, since there’s at least a plausible reason why Lewis would have a beef with him – much the same as Patrick Bateman has a beef with Jared Leto’s Paul Allen in the original film.

Things Look Like They’re Going To Get Really Awkward In ‘Gorburger’

The Warner Sound has teamed up with Funny Or Die to present a brand new YouTube only talk show run by Gorburger, a creature that looks part Where The Wild Things Are, part Troll Doll, and part GWAR. Starring T.J. Miller (Cloverfield), the show will feature many Warner Sounds artists, including Mars Volta, Tegan and Sara, 3OH!3, and more. It’s scheduled to appear every Monday starting Sept. 24th on The Warner Sound’s official YouTube page.

Featuring heads being torn off, incredibly awkward sexual innuendo, and more, this looks like a series that I’ll be enjoying on a regular basis (thanks scheduled upload times!). Check out a trailer for this monstrosity below. READ MORE

According to the video below, Lenny Kravitz has some serious anger issues. The kind of anger issues that result in unnecessary amounts of unprovoked violence. Still, it makes for a hilarious video. Best part? When the guy screams in frustrated horror, “My papers!” Check it out below and commence laughter.
