Slow news days suck. They mean I don’t get to write quite as much as I’d like to and you don’t get a sufficient dose of gaming awesome that only Bloody Disgusting can provide. That’s why I’ve decided to remedy days like these with a swift kick to the face in a brand new series called Boredom Bytes. Whenever you see one of these you’ll know you’re about to be entertained, because hidden inside each of these will be a gooey center consisting of funny/weird/random videos and miscellaneous other byte-sized bites of gaming-related awesome. E3 is over and the world is quiet again. I hope you enjoyed last week, really soaked it up, because with the exception of Lollipop Chainsaw (out today!), the next couple months are going to be dreadfully uneventful. I’ve always wondered what a Pac-Man film would look like and with retro games like Asteroids getting a film and even board games like Battleship, I knew there was a very good chance I’d eventually find out. I loved Limbo for its gloomy atmosphere, clever traps, and gorgeous, simple visuals. The whole black and white thing worked for it, but now that I’ve seen what the world really looks like I’m kind of wishing I had brought a flashlight with me on my second playthrough. Check it out below.

A recent poll conducted by U.K. dating website Tastebuds.fm shows that people who listen to Metallica and Nirvana are far more likely to have sex on the first date, compared to people who listen to Coldplay and Lady Gaga. Well, yeah! I could’ve called that one a mile away! Who wants to bang it out to ‘Speed Of Sound‘ when you can rock out ‘Rape Me‘? Was that in poor taste? Meh, whatever.

So, Blabbermouth.net earlier reported that a 13-year old Norwegian boy was walking home from school when suddenly a pack of wolves came up to him. Too scared to run (which is definitely for the best), the boy whipped out his cell phone and started playing Creed’s ‘Overcome’. The wolves’ response? They turned around and went the other direction.

Damn, wolves are smarter than people give them credit for. I would’ve turned around and walked away too. Wolves, you have my respect.

However, sometimes a re-imagining comes along that one ups the original. Many of you thought so of Matt Reeve’s ‘Let Me In’.
