‘Gears Of War: Judgement’ Introduces The Awesome Tripwire Crossbow

Did you daylight savings time junkies set your clocks forward? I lost a whole hour of gaming last night! Bullshit! The Tripwire Crossbow. Let’s talk about it. It’s a lot like the Detonator in Dead Space 2 and 3. Basically you fire it at a wall, and a laser beam goes from one wall to another. If anything or any one walks into it, BLAMO! The different between using it in Dead Space, and using it in Gears Judgement, is we’re going to have some excellent online multiplayer to use the Tripwire Crossbow. Check out the video below to get a taste. Gears Of War: Judgement comes out March 19th in the US, exclusively for the Xbox 360.

Best Buy Has A Pretty Kick Ass Pre-Order Deal Going On For New Games

A lot of people don’t realize that Best Buy has a “Gamer’s Club“. It’s basically the answer to Game Stop’s Power Up Rewards program, only in my opinion Gamer’s Club is way better. Basically you pay $15.00 for a year subscription. The $15.00 pays for itself in no time flat, especially if you’re an avid gamer. If you head past the break I’ve included a list of everything you get with the subscription. But here’s the best part. For a bunch of upcoming games right now, if you pre-order and pick up the games within 7 days of their release, you get a 20 dollar Best Buy Reward Zone certificate. I myself just pre-ordered 4 games on the list, and so long as I get them within a week of their releases I’m making a total of $80.00 on the deal. Head past the break for the list of games, and more Gamer’s Club info.

VGA 2012: New ‘Gears Of War: Judgement’ Trailer Shows Some New Enemies

Is it too soon for a new Gears Of War game? In the opinion of some, it’s never too soon. I look at Gears Of War: Judgement like Halo: ODST. The main storyline is done (for now) so let’s reach a little into the past and build on a great story. Check out the 2012 VGA trailer for Gears Of War: Judgement past the break. Judgement comes out March 19th exclusively for the Xbox 360.

Get Your Hands On ‘Gears Of War: Judgement’s’ Classic Hammerbust

Gears Of War: Judgement is coming out next March, and it does kind of seem like that’s a little too soon. Gears 3 was such a perfect game, I’m also afraid Judgement might have been a little rushed. Though Epic has really done no wrong in the Gears series as it has progressed, so really I’m all around totally unsure. If you pre order Judgement you can get your hands on the new/old Classic Hammerburst. Check out a video for it past the break.

Gears Of War: Judgement’s ‘Overrun’ Mode Looks AWESOME

How do you take an already great multiplayer game and make it even greater? Overrun Mode. What separates Overrun from a normal game of chainsaw your friends in half? Classes. Each participating character has a separate class, and with that class comes specific duties. It also means a much easier way to blame your friends for your team losing. But it also means you really have to work together to win. Check out the Overrun Tutorial video below, and the Jack Island level b-roll video past the break.

E3 2012: Say Hello To “Gears Of War: Judgement”

Just a few days back we broke wind of a new Gears Of War game to be announced at E3. Yes, broke wind. Well, Gears Of War: Judgement has been announced and it’s definitely not was I was expecting. I think most people looked at it as if it could be a prequel to the original series. Turns out, well, that’s pretty much the truth. However it doesn’t center around Marcus and Dom, but Baird and Cole. We can look forward to an epic back story coming to life and an all new multiplayer mode. Also, health grenades? Fuck yeah. Lots more past the break.
