Kurtis J. Wiebe, the mind behind “Peter Panzerfaust” and “Green Wake”, is gearing up for a brand new series, and he’s sent us the first two teaser images to showcase a couple of his female leads. Depicted below are Hannah and Violet. Wiebe describes his new series as “Tank Girl” and Bridesmaids meets “Lord of the Rings”. He also promises monsters and blood. Penned by Alvarez and Adam Shazar, Girls brings a fresh twist to a conventional thriller in telling the story of a slumber party gone wrong after four teenage girls are terrorized by a pair of kidnappers. “When Adam and I sat down to write ‘Girls,’ we took a lot of inspiration from the ambition it took to make a movie like ‘Buried,’ so I couldn’t be more excited about getting to make a film with Peter,” Alvarez said.
