Bloody-Disgusting is thrilled to team up with A Pale Horse Named Death to bring you an exclusive stream of their song “In The Sleeping Death”, which comes from their new album Lay My Soul To Waste! The melodic, haunting grunge/metal track is a fantastic slow burner, one that has stayed with me since I first heard it. The best way I can describe it is that it sounds like Alice In Chains only rawer, more real, and more evil. I’m beyond excited that I get to share this song with all of you readers! It’s not surprising that today we can take Pearl Jam for granted. Hell, they’ve been around for over 20 years, they have a devoted fan base, and their music is, overall, pretty kickass. But upon the release of Ten, their debut album, in 1991, I don’t think anyone was really aware of exactly what was about to happen to the music scene. Often imitated, deservedly lauded, this album became one of the most important albums of a generation.

It’s impossible to emphasize how much I can’t stand Nirvana. Sure, they helped usher in the popularity of grunge, but I’m positive that Alice in Chains or Soundgarden didn’t really need much help. But whatever, the past is the past and nothing can really change that. Nirvana’s biggest album, Nevermind, is about to hit the 20 year mark come this September and you better believe that people want to make money off of that. So, of course, a super deluxe version is coming out Sept. 27th (just 20 years and 3 days after the album first came out). The PRP caught wind of the track listing and details, which you can check after the jump.
