Continuing our annual tradition of using our seemingly endless knowledge of the gaming industry to predict what will happen at the biggest gaming event of the year, we have again donned our mystic robes and whipped out our big crystal balls. If you’re a big fan of the Halo series you’ve probably at least seen Red Vs Blue. If not, the team over at Rooster Teeth basically created a comedy series based on fictitious Halo characters. Halo 4. I can’t fucking wait. I’m a big effin Halo fan. 343 Industries are well on their way to making the biggest best Halo game to date. Looks like they’ve updated just about everything visually. They’re also making you feel more like how Master Chief does. A bad ass mother fuck super soldier. Check out the behind the scenes video below. Releasing this winter! Hopefully!
At Microsoft’s E3 press conference today they revealed a game we all knew was coming: Halo 4. The last two Halo games have strayed from the Chief, instead focusing on different characters like ODST’s Rookie and a slew of Spartans in Reach. Halo 4 looks like a triumphant return to form, but whether or not developer 343 Industries will be able to maintain, or hopefully surpass, the bar set by Bungie won’t be known until the game ships late next year.
You can check out the first look at the game in the form of its fully CG trailer debut that I’ve tucked away for your viewing pleasure after the jump. READ MORE
