The Birthday Massacre Ask Fans To Create Their Next Official Music Video

Electronic rock group The Birthday Massacre have made a post on their official Facebook asking fans to create their next official music video. Fans are asked to pick any song off of their latest release Hide And Seek (review). There are multiple tiers of prizes, including an opportunity to win $5,000 OR $4,000 and a two-person round trip to Toronto to meet and have dinner with the band. The Birthday Massacre Stream New Song ‘Down’

Electronic rockers The Birthday Massacre have released “Down”, a new song from their upcoming album Hide And Seek, which comes out Oct. 9th via Metropolis Records (pre-order here). You can hear the track below as well as read the lyrics.

Vocalist Chibi states, “There is an intensity to this record that I definitely felt while we were writing and recording. At times, for me, it was a struggle. I had some very strong emotions during the time we worked on this, and it shows, I think, in my vocals – and I really love how it turned out. The lyrics also touch on some darker themes. There’s a lot of very moving stuff on this record. Very intense stuff.

The Birthday Massacre Announce N. American Tour

Synthrock band The Birthday Massacre have announced that they will be embarking on a N. American tour this fall in support of their upcoming album Hide And Seek, which comes out Oct. 9th via Metropolis Records (pre-order here). The Birthday Massacre Set To Release New Album ‘Hide And Seek’

Electro-goth band The Birthday Massacre will be releasing Hide And Seek, their fifth studio album, on Oct. 9th through Metropolis Records. According to the official pre-order site, the album opens with rain and closes with the sound of waves while the songs themselves are about “lost girls, lost love, lost time”. The album is the follow-up to 2010′s Pins And Needles (review). The full track list is below.
