Extreme metal band Job For A Cowboy have announced “The End Of The World” tour, which will see them hitting the road this December. Support will be coming from Cephalic Carnage, I Declare War, and Legion. A special guest has yet to be determined.
Vocalist Jonny Davy says, “Hey guys! We’re very excited to announce our first headlining run in almost two years! This will be an incredible tour with the lineup we’ve put together. We have one more special guest to announce as well as a couple more tricks up our sleeve. Do not miss this tour! It’s going to be a rager!”

Bloody-Disgusting Music and Metal Blade Records have teamed up to bring you another badass contest! In support of the upcoming ‘Welcome To Hell Tour’, Whitechapel are giving away an autographed guitar, a sick looking t-shirt AND an official Metal Blade lanyard complete with bottle opener (for all you boozers). Whitechapel are still touring in support of their latest album, ‘A New Era Of Corruption’ and have just announced plans for even more shows. Come this February, the band will be doing a headlining tour of N. America. Supporting acts will come from The Acacia Strain, Veil of Maya, Chelsea Grin, and I Declare War. Jamie Hanks, former vocalist for death metal band Those Who Lie Beneath, has been officially announced as the singer of Razor & Tie band I Declare War. Hanks had been filling in on vocals since July and the band went ahead and decided to make everything kosher by bringing him on.
‘Malevolence’, the third full length release by Seattle, Washington Tech-Death metal band I Declare War, is a solid release with 11-tracks of blistering, down-tuned heaviness. The lyrics are just as in-your-face as the music (should you be able to understand them) and if you’re feeling particularly pissed-off at the government, religion, etc…, this may just be the album you need to get some of that aggression out.
Jonathan Huber, vocalist of I Declare War, was kind enough to shoot us his Top 10 Horror movie list. I’ll say this, the guy knows his stuff and has some really great picks in there!
I Declare War‘s self-produced album, Malevolence, will be released on June 1st as part of the Artery Recordings / Razor & Tie joint venture. The Seattle-based death metal / metalcore band agrees that the new album is their heaviest and most focused record to date. Fans can look forward to a heavy and aggressive album that speaks to a variety of subject matters the band finds corrupt in today’s world.
