Swedish mysterious heavy metal band Ghost will be heading down South to rock out at the Texas Frightmare Weekend in Dallas on May 3rd. Their appearance will probably be sometime during the day as they are also going to be playing at the House Of Blues that very same night. The band is still touring to promote their latest album Infestissumam, which I have to admit I didn’t like the first few times I spun it but it has since grown on me a great deal.

I saw Ghost during their opening stint on the Avenged Sevenfold/Deftones tour (review) and they kicked ass, plain and simple! They’re theatrical, totally into the performance, and a lot of fun. Highly recommended! READ MORE

I’ve been hooked on Ghost B.C. since their debut full-length Opus Eponymous back in 2010. Their slightly quirky approach to songwriting is incredibly catchy and fun and they’re simply a fantastic band. Head on below to see their latest music video for “Year Zero”. READ MORE
Swedish black metal band Ghost B.C. has released a very NSFW video for “Year Zero”, which comes from their upcoming sophomore album Infestissumam (out April 16th via Loma Vista). The video, directed by Amir Chamdin, features a coven of witches (who appear quite topless for a bit) and their Satanic fascination with an older man.
The band will also be embarking on the “Haze Over North America 2013″ tour with support coming from Ides Of Gemini. The full touring schedule is below. READ MORE
NWOBHM rockers Ghost B.C. have released a music video for “Secular Haze”, which comes off their upcoming sophomore release Infestissumam (out Apr. 9th via Loma Vista Recordings). The video, directed by Amir Chamdin, was filmed in the band’s hometown of Linköping, Sweden and is an homage to the classic TV live performances of the ’70′s. It honestly looks like it was shot on VHS, which is rather charming considering how everything these days is hyper digital or shot on the ubiquitous RED camera.
Ghost B.C. will be heading out on a N. American headlining tour beginning with dates at Coachella. Support will come from Ides Of Gemini. The full touring schedule and the music video can be seen below. READ MORE

Heavy metal band Ghost has released their cover of ABBA‘s “I’m A Marionette”, which you can listen to below. The cover is a somewhat stripped down, darker version of the original, which was far more bombastic and theatrical. While originally slated to appear on the band’s sophomore album Infestissumam, it does not appear on the current track listing.
