August marks the grim 40th anniversary of the murder of actress Sharon Tate, and four others at the hands of Manson Family cult members. This terrible event closed the 1960′s in a full circle — a decade that had begun with such promise. It ended in assassinations, riots, upheaval and finally mass murder in Hollywood.

‘Into The Dark’ Looks Genuinely Creepy, And Weird

Into The Dark follows a private investigator (you), who encounters way way more than he bargained for in a New England cabin. Into The Dark won “Most Surprising Game of the Show” at Gamescom this year. Basically you can expect a creepy zombie fps, also filled with puzzles, adventure, and some RPG elements. Check out the trailer and some screens past the break. You can download the game from multiple download portals online as the game is exclusively for the PC.

Trailer For ‘Into The Dark’ Is Kind Of A Mix Of ‘Flatliners’ And ‘Like Crazy’

A sales trailer for the new Mishca Barton (Notting Hill, The Sixth Sense, “The O.C.”) thriller Into The Dark has landed (not to be confused with the other Mischa Barton Thriller, Into The Darkness“). It’s not really my thing, but if you can like something I don’t that’s just one more thing you get pleasure out of in this life than I do. So, you win! It was directed by Mark Edwin Robinson (The Levenger Tapes).

In the film, “A young woman (Mischa Barton) who is severely depressed after the deaths of both her parents retreats within herself, only to be drawn out of her depression by an unexpected romance with a man named Adam (Ryan Eggold).
