The original Alive 4-ever was released last year for the iPhone and iPod touch and received great reviews and was ranked as of of the best games in the Apple App Store. So what do you do when you are one of the best? You cash in on a sequel of course! Alive 4-ever RETURNS is that sequel. But in this version they are using a better game engine, it’s got better graphics, game play, you name it.

The game is top down Smash TV style game play with newly added RPG elements for the sequel. RETURNS picks up where the original left off. “A month after the outbreak of the virus accident in Nefount City, Dr. Lederman, who is a Research Director of the pharmaceutical company, was issued a warrant for his arrest due to his involvement in the accident. His plan was to smuggle the virus sample into South America by sea, and hand it over to an unknown organization.” READ MORE

Kick Ass, The Game

Kick Ass the movie comes out this Friday in theaters, so why not release a crime fighting bloody as hell game to go with it? You’ll be able to get the game on the Playstation Network April 29th, and on the portable Apple devices April 17th. The game will cost $14.99 on the PSN, and $2.99 on the Apple appliances.

In the game you will be able to play as Kick Ass, Hit Girl, and Big Daddy. I’m not sure why they left Red Mist out, laziness? The game is 3rd person, will feature 12 story missions, and 2 bonus rounds, and as you can tell by the video is full of gore. The game only has local co-op multiplayer (cough shitty cough). In a game like this, where you have 4 main characters, there should be 4 player co-op online multiplayer. But for some reason they left out a main character, and screwed you on online multiplayer. In Vampire Origins Vincents bride is killed by a vampire. So he sets out to kill that vampire and any that stand in his way. Vincent happens to be a hunter for a dangerous organization, and he doesn’t just want to kill the vampire that killed his wife; he wants to kill all of the vampires that have slowly destroyed the world.

Whether you like Linkin Park or not, you’d better give them the mad diggity dog retarded stupid ass bomb props for their upcoming game/app for Apple devices “Linkin Park 8-Bit Rebellion!”. Production on the game began over a year ago, and the band was deeply involved in the entire creation of the game, from story and gameplay, to character design and music.

In case you wanted more zombie games on the iPhone, I’m going to let you take a look at another one. This one is a zombie RTS however. Pretty much like most RTS’s you build up your defenses and ready yourself for the oncoming attack.

Zombie Wonderland, another magical zombie iPhone game. This zombie game is a tower defense, except sadly you are fighting off cute zombies. If that is even possible. Luckily Niceville USA has Chuck. He is a Zombie Cleaner. So when you are having an infestation problem, you call Chuck.

On top of completely destroying zombies, and keeping them at bay, you control Chuck and you also have to keep the peoples houses clean after splattering some brains on the floors. So enough with the straight up action zombie killing. Let’s get down to some zombie tower defense shall we? Zombie Smash! will be coming to the Apple App Store in March, and you will be able to pick it up for only $1.99. Can’t go wrong! Even if it sucks.

You take on the role of Joey (because it is absolutely necessary to give the character in a 2 dollar zombie tower defense game for the apple store a name), who is the sole survivor in this zombie mayhem. What is the one thing that the iPhone apps store has a plentiful amount of? Zombie games. However, technically you can never have too many zombie. I mean unless there is an outbreak or something. Out now from publisher AND developer Freeverse is Zombie Cannon Carnage.

In this zombie game, you fire your alien zombies into the sky and use their jetpacks to fly them in objects to destroy them and rack up points. You zombies can also lose limbs which gains you extra points, but you can also completely explode while destroying the environment around you.
