Blackfield, the collaboration project between Porcupine Tree‘s Steven Wilson and Israeli singer/songwriter Aviv Geffen, has released a video for their first single “Jupiter”. Sony has officially unveiled the fourth game in the brutal God of War series, dubbed Ascension. Judging from the trailer that you can check out after the break, it looks like it will serve as a prequel to the trilogy, before Kratos went mad and stormed the gates of Olympus so he could tear apart the gods one by one. I loved the third game, but it’s getting more and more difficult to empathize with him as a character, so I hope this will shed some light on a less monstrous, but no less intimidating Kratos. God of War III’s design director Todd Papy will be returning to direct this game as well.
Southern rock band Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster have released a video for Open Your Eyes, which comes off their latest album IV. The video stars cult acting legend Danny Trejo as a man with some rather sinister intentions. However, what awaits him is definitely NOT what he expected.
IV came out Sept. 27th, 2011 through Ferret Music.
