Four young people win a trip of a lifetime to New York, courtesy of their favorite social-networking website – All2gethr.com. As they board the private jet, they are asked to relinquish their mobile phones and take part in the in-flight entertainment – a new online gaming experience.

But this is no ordinary game. Trapped at 30,000 feet, they are forced to play for their lives and the lives of their loved ones by their invisible captor, who seems to all know their most intimate secrets.

With no escape and no one to trust, they are about to learn that putting your life on-line can have deadly offline consequences…

Two hit men, Pinner, a cynical veteran and the inexperienced Cully, are sent to murder an old associate of their underworld boss. Waiting for their mark to return home, Pinner attempts to pass the time by telling a strange story from his past, involving Valentina, a dancer he was once ordered to kill… But things are not all what they seem in their quarry’s house and the discovery of a make-shift black magic altar sends the uncomprehending duo into the shadowy darkness of their own tortured souls.

From director Robert Heath comes the shocker True Or Die (formerly Truth Or Dare), which Bloody Disgusting Selects will release on Cabler VOD September 1 with a full VOD platform and DVD release set for October 9.

Bloody Disgusting Selects just got twisted.

We have just now landed the North American rights to Robert Heath’s genre shocker Truth or Dare for release on DVD, VOD and digital platforms later this year.

Directed by Heath, and produced by Corona Pictures, “the film portrays five teenage friends who are taken hostage by a vengeful psychopath and forced to play a party game with life-or-death consequences. Their only hope is to work together and turn the tables on their assailant, even if they must risk their lives in the process. First announced back in March was Corona Pictures’ teen horror thriller Truth Or Dare, which we just landed the AFM sales art for. My guess is our leading lady, who’s about to pop out of her dress, had a bad spin…

Robert Heath, who made the 2010 political drama Sus, directed the thriller “about five teenage friends who are taken hostage by a psychopath and forced to play a deadly spin-the-bottle party game.” The script has been written by Matthew McGuchan.

The cast includes a crop of upcoming young British actors including David Oakes (Pillars of the Earth), Jennie Jacques (Cherry Tree Lane), Liam Boyle (Awaydays), Jack Gordon (Fish Tank) and Alexander Vlahos (The Indian Doctor).
