Chicago Actor Auditions For ‘Piranha 3DD’ In Bathtub

With the announcement of Gary Busey joining the cast earlier, I didn’t think things could get much better for Piranha 3DD today. And then this audition video – featuring Chicago actor Andy Eninger – started making the rounds. This guy has got the silly overreacting down pat, someone get him a cameo ASAP.

‘Piranha 3 Double D’ Meat Eaters Swim Into a Waterpark!

Filming is officially set for the end of May in North Carolina for John Gulager’s Piranha 3 Double D, which reteams him with Feast writers Patrick Melton and Marcus Dustan.

This afternoon we got our hand on the first ever plot details: The sequel continues down the path of “ridiculous” as the piranha this time make their way into swimming pools, pipes, plumping and such at a newly opened waterpark named “Wilderness Waters”! The race is on to save the town from these flesh-eating creatures that are leaving a bloodbath in their wake.

In theaters November 23, Dimension Films is working on ensuring a “real” 3-dimensional experience. I want to see even more gore!

Shoot Dates: ‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’ and ‘Pirahna 3DD’

We spend so much talking about movies when they’re in development that is incredibly exciting to actually hear of a start date for them. When a start date is locked in, it usually means that the flick is finally going behind cameras, and if it doesn’t suck, it could be out in theaters within two years. Website NOLA is reporting that Twentieth Century Fox’s Timur Bekmambetov-directed Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter will begin filming in New Orleans starting January 24th. It will arrive in theaters June 22, 2012. In addition, they state that Dimension Films’ Piranha 3DD goes behind cameras from January 17-February 18 in Baton Rouge. The Alex Aja-directed redo was filmed in Arizona. John Gulager directs this 3D sequel that arrives in theaters September 16, 2011.

Ving Rhames: Returning For ‘Piranha 3DD’?

While it was assumed in Piranha 3D that Ving Rhames’ character Deputy Fallon bit the dust, rumors arose today that he may just be returning for the sequel Piranha 3DD- in other words, he may not have become the fish bait we all originally thought. Naturally, I made sure to ask the actor about this at the press junket for his latest film, Death Race 2. Here’s what he had to say about the possibility.

Feast III: The Happy Finish (V)

What’s even better than Sloppy Seconds? Feast III: The Happy Finish marks the return of the original film’s writers/director and the third course in this blood-gushing, mutant-thrashing, stomach-churning comic horror series. The man-eating monsters are still hungry, and what’s left of the human survivors – including Biker Queen, Bartender, and Lightning the wrestler – are running out of luck. That is until hope arrives in the form of a knife-wielding karate kid and a mysterious man who seems to be able to control the beasts. Loaded with horrors that will haunt your dreams, Feast III: The Happy Finish is non-stop, gross-out action with the mother of all endings!

Feast II: Sloppy Seconds (V)

It is the morning after, and we pick up with the survivors of “Feast’s terrifying night before. There are more monsters and they are even angrier/hungrier. The monsters have made it into the small neighboring town in the middle of nowhere and the surviving locals have to band together to figure out how to survive. Like that is even a real possibility. Will Honey Pie pay for her desertion? Will Tuffy make it to Heroine’s kid in time? Is that Harley Mom’s twin sister? So many questions, it will take another sequel to answer them all. But for now, we can only sit back and be terrorized.
