Could Another A Perfect Circle Studio Album Be In The Works?

In a recent interview with Las Vegas Weekly, A Perfect Circle guitarist Billy Howerdel spilled the beans on the status of a future APC album, stating, “…I’d love to – when the time is right. It would be awesome. I’m trying to write songs with that in mind.” However, Howerdel has his focus elsewhere right now: “…right now, I’m focusing most of my energy on a new Ashes Divide record, which is under way with 11 songs.” Howerdel hopes to enter the mixing phase of the new Ashes Divide album in January or February.

APC’s last album was 2004′s eMOTIVe, which was a collection of cover songs from such artists as Devo, Depeche Mode, John Lennon, and more. There were also two original tracks on that record.

Meanwhile, APC will be performing their sole 2012 show tomorrow night in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood. READ MORE

Songs For Japan Album Up On iTunes

It’s not because I’m an insensitive prick (okay, maybe just a little), but it’s because there wasn’t really much I could relate to the situation. But if we think about it, the people in that situation are dealing with horrors far worse than we can imagine. They’ve lost their homes, their families and their livelihood. But now, we can help.
