There’s Literally A ‘Kid In The Box’ In Twisted Teaser Trailer!

Gabriele Albanesi is back again with a sequel to his pretty insane Italian slasher The Last House in the Woods. Above we’ve added the official teaser for Kid In the Box, a twisted continuation that delivers everything the title promises.

The sequel tells the story of the two children who had survived the end of the previous chapter: Giulio the cannibal kid and Andrea the torso kid without legs and arms. The film tells the bloody story of their odyssey through a world that will turn dark and unforgiving.

The actors of this first teaser are the newcomer Rossella Schiuma and the two children Andrea Pittorino and Matteo Pastore. The cinematography in Red Camera is by Davide Manca. At the helm of the special effects is Sergio Stivaletti – here on his third partnership with Albanesi – and the music is by Claudio Simonetti (Deep Red, Suspiria, Phenomena) with an original score created specifically for this teaser.  AFM 11: Director Sharpens Teeth for Last House in the Woods Sequel

Bloody Disgusting learned today that Gabriele Albanesi will direct Kid in the Box, the sequel of the gruesome and pretty entertaining The Last House in the Woods released in 2008 in USA by Sam Raimi’s Ghost House Underground.

In the project are involved big names of Italian Horror as Sergio Stivaletti to the special effects and Claudio Simonetti to the original music.

In my intentions KID IN THE BOX will be a great, powerful, romantic, epic horror film and to realize it I collected the best people that have made the history of this kind of cinema” said Albanesi.

In Last House in the Woods, a young couple are saved by a seemingly nice older couple after a fight with some punks. While there, the wounded woman begins to realize that some frightening things are occurring the house…

The previous film of Albanesi, Ubaldo Terzani Horror Show, will be released in USA in January 2012 on DVD and Blu-ray disc by Rarovideo USA. READ MORE
