As promised, we’ve got the third tour webisode from rockers Eve To Adam, who will be hitting the road in just a few weeks alongside Italian melodic rockers Lacuna Coil! In this video, the band is celebrating their Eugene, OR performance with shots of Fireball.
Speaking of Fireball, TJ and I have found that if you take a big swig out of a Woodchuck Hard Cider and replace that swig with a shot of Fireball, it tastes absolutely delicious AND gets you hammered just that little bit faster. There’s your pro-tip for this weekend.
Yesterday we premiered the first of three webisodes from hard rockers Eve To Adam in which they extolled the cities of Fresno and Sacramento as well as offering a sneak behind the stage. Today brings episode #2, which shows the band rocking out in Reno, NV as well as playing some blackjack. Check out this exclusive video below!
Hard rockers Eve To Adam have been featured on Bloody-Disgusting quite a bit over the years and it’s really incredible to see how far they’ve come. They’ve gone from an upcoming band that few had heard of to sharing stages with some of the biggest names in the industry, including an upcoming tour with Italian melodic hard rockers Lacuna Coil. It’s been pretty incredible to see their growth and, in a small way, feel like we’ve been a part of that.
That’s why we’ve got several upcoming exclusive webisodes for you readers coming this week. The band recently got off a tour with rock/metal group Escape The Fate and they got a lot of footage behind-the-scenes that they want to share with the world! So head on down to check out the first of three exclusive videos!

I truly enjoyed the hell out of The Human Equation and 01011001, while not as good as THE, was still quite excellent, so I’m definitely looking forward to checking this album out. READ MORE
Tomorrow marks the release of melodic hard rock band Sevendust’s ninth studio album Black Out The Sun, which is the followup to 2010’s Cold Day Memory. In anticipation of this release, we got the opportunity to do a one-on-one chat with singer Lajon Witherspoon to discuss the album, touring with Coal Chamber, Lacuna Coil, and Candlelight Red, the 1999 show with Metallica in Detroit, and more. We also got to ask if Witherspoon had ever encountered any racism during their career as well as Lajon’s love of horror. You can check it all out below

Italian melodic metal group Lacuna Coil have released an official video for “In The End”, which comes off their album Dark Adrenaline. Directed by Roberto Cinardi, who worked with the band previously on the “Spellbound” and “I Won’t Tell You” videos, the video shows singers Cristina Scabbia and Andrea Ferro in various classically-inspired outfits. It’s a slow video, one that is more hypnotic than exciting, which works well for the music. Also, anyone who designs costumes or does set design for theater will probably love this video. Check it out below. READ MORE
Italian melodic hard rockers Lacuna Coil have announced an early 2013 US tour alongside Sevendust. The band will be touring in support of their most recent album Dark Adrenaline, which came out Jan. 23rd of this year. You can see the tour schedule below.
I’ve seen Lacuna Coil three times: once at Harpos in Detroit, once at the Agora Ballroom in Cleveland (along with Tapping The Vein and Daylight Dies!), and lastly at an acoustic show in downtown Ann Arbor at Borders store #1. Basically, I haven’t seen them since 2005, so it’d be interesting to check them out after all these years to see what their show is like now. READ MORE
I’m one of those guys who pops in a foreign horror movie into my DVD player (I still haven’t upgraded to Blu-Ray. Shove off.) and makes sure that it’s set to English subtitles and the original language as my audio. I’d rather read the text at the bottom of the screen than see mouths move without the words matching. That throws me off more than anything else.
But the main reason I do this is because I love hearing the languages of the world. I want to hear the difference between Spanish and Portuguese. I want to hear how Serbian is different from Russian (True story: Since I know a bit of Russian, I was actually able to understand several words and phrases in A Serbian Film). It’s so exciting to hear the flow and intonations of other languages and it makes the world a much richer place for me.
The same thing applies to my love of music. I love hearing people sing in different languages because it makes it that much more of an adventure. While I may not understand what they are saying (that’s why translations are available), their passion and the musical flow of their voice is so enchanting that I’m hooked. READ MORE
This is just too good of a story to not be shared. Apparently, a 28-year old woman attended the Chicago Gigantour show, which featured Megadeth, Motorhead, Lacuna Coil, and Volbeat. During the show, she encountered a strapping young lad and the two proceeded to engage in…shall we say illicit behavior in one of the bathroom stalls. Fast forward and she finds out she is pregnant and is trying to reach the father through the majestical land of Craigslist. I’m not joking. Read on for the full posting. READ MORE
With the release of Underworld: Awakening fast approaching, hype is also building around the soundtrack, which features such artists as Black Light Burns, and William Control, as well remixes of Evanescence, Linkin Park, The Cure, and more. So, for those of you who are on pins and needles wondering how certain songs are going to sound, there is now a preview that features 30 seconds of each song below. Check it out and leave your thoughts!
Back in 2005, I was lucky enough to go and check out the first ever Gigantour, the here-and-there summer festival started by Megadeth. Needless to say, for the ticket price (I think it was something like $25), I definitely got my money’s worth. Now, Megadeth has announced that they are resurrecting the tour. However, some things have changed: First of all, it’s not going to be in the summer. Rather, the tour will start towards the end of January and run through early March. Second, there apparently won’t be a full day of music. Instead, only three other bands will be joining Megadeth on stage: Motorhead, Volbeat, and Lacuna Coil. Tour dates have yet to be announced, so keep an eye on Megadeth.com.
I’m still very interested in checking out the show but it seems like this could’ve been called something else. Imagine if Ozzfest was Ozzy headlining with Black Label Society and Fear Factory attached on the tour and that was it. Nope, not the same. Not the same at all.
Italian female-fronted rock group Lacuna Coil have finalized a release date for Dark Adrenaline, their newest album. The album will be coming out Jan. 24th, 2012 and the first single, Trip The Darkness, will be coming out Oct. 10th. The album is produced by Don Gilmore, who has worked with Linkin Park, Good Charlotte, and Bullet For My Valentine.
Personally, I think that’s a bit too long in between the single and the album release. That is unless it’s one hell of a kick ass song. Fingers crossed, right?

Although Italian female-fronted rockers Lacuna Coil have moved back the release of their upcoming album Dark Adrenaline to an undetermined 2012 release date, they still want fans to hear some new material. If you’re one of these die-hard “Coil-ers” [Ed. Note: I'm taking credit for that], the mark Oct. 17th (Europe)/Oct. 18th (US) on your calendar. On those dates, the band will be releasing their first single, Trip The Darkness. The band will also be hitting the road with a slew of Italian headline dates as well as a few stops elsewhere in Europe. Tour dates are after the jump.
Italian melodic metal band Lacuna Coil has been keeping kind of quiet for the past few months, emerging only to release the name of their upcoming album, Dark Adrenaline, which is slated for an early 2012 release. I’ll be perfectly honest, Comalies was the last album of theirs that I really enjoyed, so I’m hoping that the new album is a return to that form OR something totally unexpected and badass.
Check after the jump for a message from Cristina and all the tour dates.

Bloody-Disgusting is thrilled to exclusively premiere the video for ‘Emptiness Unobstructed’, the first single off of the new Nevermore album, ‘The Obsidian Conspiracy’! The video is directed by Nigel Crane (Lacuna Coil, Slipknot, Pitchshifter). Here is what singer Warrel Dane had to say about the shoot:
“Working with director Nigel Crane was a great experience. We spent a day walking around the white cliffs in Dover the day before the London show and we couldn’t possibly be happier with the end result. The live part was shot at the O2 Academy Islington in London and we only performed the song twice that night so we had to make these takes count, so we went all out. It was pretty amazing that most of the audience knew all of the words even though we were a number of days away from the album’s release. Thanks for checking this out and we hope you enjoy it.”
