The Human Centipede Part 2 (Full Sequence) (limited) - 3

[Special Feature] Psychology and Horror: A Means To An End. Dissecting ‘The Human Centipede 2′

Written By: Joseph Forsberg

We are a product of our environment; psychological defects can be the result of how we grew up and the trauma we experience at a young age.

Borderline Personality Disorder: A condition in which people have long-term patterns of unstable emotions or pure rage, caused by sexual abuse or lack of communications in the household. Their behavior may reflect negative feelings of themselves or others.

Tom Six’s The Human Centipede Part 2: Full Sequence is by far one of the most disturbing movies I have ever seen; yes it has a lot of violence and gore, but the worst part to me is the fact that every single part of Martin’s personality can be diagnosed. His goal throughout this movie is to create a centipede out of 12 random people; to him this would be a beautiful master piece, almost a form of art. Martin, the villain in the film, is not always displaying random behavior; for the most part, he has a reason for every action taken and his personality is influenced by everything that he has had to endure throughout his entire life. This man is not insane; Martin is simply an example of how our environment can create pure evil. When fantasies are no longer an escape from reality, one must create a reality that reflects fantasy. ‘Human Centipede’ Legal Battle Holds Up Production

Human Centipede Legal Battle Holds Up Production

We received a statement this morning from The Human Centipede producer Ilona Six explaining that production has been delayed on The Human Centipede 3 (Final Sequence) as they prepare to do legal battle with franchise star Dieter Laser (pictured left).

Tom Six’s company will sue Dieter Laser,” she tells Bloody.

Because of the success of The Human Centipede, it seems that Mr Dieter Laser’s ego has grown to laughably big proportions. First signing the contract and rating the THC3 script as fantastic, and then demanding his own unacceptable script changes, and now refusing to play the part only seven weeks prior to shooting.

Six Entertainment Company will start legal action against Dieter Laser. Tom Six says not to worry – principal photography will be postponed and will take place later this year.

Principal photography was to begin this May in the States, with Laser and Laurence R. Harvey both returning in starring roles. Laser played the evil German surgeon “Dr. Heiter” in First Sequence, while Harvey played the creepy “Martin” – a man obsessed with Six’s first film – in the sequel Full Sequence. Franchise director Tom Six will play an unknown supporting role in what they’re calling “100% politically incorrect.” Six recently revealed that he’s working on a 500-person centipede. YIKES!

*Editor’s Note: The opinions and statements of Ilona Six are not those of Bloody Disgusting. Not to mention that we don’t know if this is a brilliant publicity stunt or not. We’ll play it safe… READ MORE

Both ‘Human Centipede’ Surgeons Return For ‘Final Sequence’!

Both Human Centipede Surgeons Return For Final Sequence!

While most people crucified the filmmaker, I was a pretty huge fan of Tom Six’s The Human Centipede 2 (read the review), a film that had the balls to say “f*ck you” to every hater out there (even though I still think directors need to stop reading all of the negative comments and feeling the need to respond to the hate). I think the most exciting part of the sequel was the “out-of-the-box thinking”, where Six takes viewers outside of the initial film and then into what he deems the “real world.” This leads us to the Final Sequence

While Six has kept plot details under wraps, Bloody Disgusting has confirmed that both Dieter Laser (pictured above left) and Laurence R. Harvey will return in The Human Centipede Part 3 (Final Sequence), both in starring roles. Laser played the evil German surgeon “Dr. Heiter” in First Sequence, while Harvey played the creepy “Martin” – a man obsessed with Six’s first film – in the sequel Full Sequence.

The real head-scratcher that’s got my interest piqued is that writer-director Tom Six himself will play a supporting role in the film! I think we’re about to go super-meta!

Principal photography will begin this May in the States. The film will be released in 2013, presumably by IFC. It is also confirmed that Final Sequence will actually be the last film of the Human Centipede trilogy.

The American finale will be 100% politically incorrect.

[Blu-ray Review] ‘The Human Centipede Part 2: Full Sequence’

Original Review From Fantastic Fest ‘11

Despite being shown in theatres, it’s hard to actually classify The Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence as a film. Like Faces of Death, it’s a collection of increasingly gross ideas strung together, specifically designed to push buttons and offend with the added bonus of having something that barely passes as a narrative woven between them. When viewed in that light, it’s admirable how committed director Tom Six is to his vision and how uncompromised it feels, but as he explained during a post-screening Q&A, it’s basically a bunch of leftover ideas that he couldn’t fit in the first time around. The explanation makes sense, but it certainly doesn’t setup the context for why these events are occurring or what Six is attempting to comment on with his grotesque display of medical inaccuracies. Worldwide Censorship Campaign: Human Centipede 2 Banned in Australia

Tom Six’s Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence has been banned by the Classification Review Board just three weeks after it made its Australian premiere at the Brisbane International Film Festival, says the Sydney Morning Herald.

Originally classified R 18+ by the Classification Board in May, Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence was refused classification by the Review Board on Monday with the review team decrying its “gratuitous, exploitative or offensive depictions of violence“, as well as its displays of cruelty.

The sequel to Tom Six’s 2009 film The Human Centipede: First Sequence follows a mentally unstable car park attendant who becomes so obsessed with the first movie that he copycats the original premise of sewing humans together into one “centipede”.

The unedited version of the film was originally cleared for classification in Australia, despite being cut for audiences in the United Kingdom after an initial banning.

All sides bitched and moaned, but ultimately it’s censorship. So, yeah. READ MORE

Tom Six Uses Disney Analogy AGAIN to Hype THIRD ‘Human Centipede’

European Director Tom Six has become the freshest face in the horror community to reach star status with his 2010 shocker The Human Centipede: First Sequence. In hyping the film’s now in post-production sequel, The Human Centipede Part 2: Full Sequence, Six had used the “Disney” analogy stating that it would make the first “look like a Disney film.” It’s a strong statement considering how unnerving the first assembly was, which is probably why he’s already opting to use the exact same bold statement to hype up the end to the trilogy, currently in development.

Already banned by the British Board of Film Classification, Six had some more bad news for the BBFC: Human Centipede 3 is going to “make the last one look like a Disney film,” he tells Empire. “We’re going to shoot the third film entirely in America and it’s going to be my favourite…It’s going to upset a lot of people.

The director also confirmed that part three would be the last of his Centi-series, in a stitch guaranteeing cinema its most extreme trilogy. Despite his protestations, Six was asked if he might feel a temptation to dust off the sandpaper for a fourth installment. “No. Never, ever.

While I enjoyed the first film quite a bit, I do fear that Six may be taking the franchise too far. I am not a fan of torture films without a point (see Chaos and more recently Morituris). If Six opts to shock and awe by inflicting horrible pain on the film’s protagonists without any social commentary, I fear I’m going to be greatly disappointed in the man. Hopefully Full Sequence will see a release later this year and we’ll be able to dissect the “Centipede” a bit further…

‘The Human Centipede: Full Sequence’ Drama Part 4: UK Distro Eureka Responds

This has been an insane few weeks for Tom Six’s hotly anticipated The Human Centipede Part 2: Full Sequence.

It all started when the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) announced that it had rejected and was unable to classify the film for UK release, basically banning it. They issued a press release and included major plot points, while also crucifying the film in the public’s eye (for shame!)

Then we broke the full cast, which I’m sure didn’t make everyone smile.

Following that, Six had beautifully responded to the banning stating: “My dear people it is a f****cking MOVIE. It is all fictional. Not real. It is all make-belief. It is art. Give people their own choice to watch it or not.

The dramatic storyline continues to unfold as the UK distributor, Eureka Entertainment, responds to the banning with a iron fist. My honest opinion is that the public stoning is cause for a lawsuit, and I sincerely hope that Eureka (and U.S. distributor IFC Films) take on the BBFC for staining the film with the moniker of “tasteless and disgusting”, among other nasty words. Banning is one thing, but this is something much, much more — my perspective is that the BBFC’s release has “caused damages,” but that’s for the courts to decide.

Censorship: ‘Human Centipede’s Tom Six Responds to BBFC Banning

I can only imagine how much is sucks to be director Tom Six right about now, although the dude should be exponentially proud that he’s become part of pop culture. No matter what the future holds, he will always be remembered.

But currently, this week to be exact, is sh*t. Not to mention that we revealed the entire cast early this morning, but the director’s The Human Centipede Part 2: Full Sequence was outright banned by the UK BBFC. The boys over at Empire got word as to “why” this ruling was made, which included a full breakdown of the plot, while also slinging insults and insinuations at the Franken-franchise. Aren’t they supposed to be objective? Hypocrites.

Anyways, Six responded to the BBFC over at Empire: “Thank you BBFC for putting spoilers of my movie on your website and thank you for banning my film in this exceptional way. Apparently I made an horrific horror-film, but shouldn’t a good horror film be horrific? My dear people it is a f****cking MOVIE. It is all fictional. Not real. It is all make-belief. It is art. Give people their own choice to watch it or not. If people can’t handle or like my movies they just don’t watch them. If people like my movies they have to be able to see it any time, anywhere also in the UK.

Short, sweet and to the point. I give his speech an A+. Scream it with me: “FUCK CENSORSHIP!”
