Wes Borland (Limp Bizkit) Playing With Combichrist At Rammstein Shows

Combichrist is not only opening up for Rammstein at Madison Square Garden in New York City (Dec. 11th), they have also been tapped as the direct openers for Rammstein in Montreal (Dec. 9th)! Not only that, Wes Borland (Limp Bizkit, Black Light Burns) will be joining Combichrist as guitarist for both shows. Color me extremely jealous of both dates! Make sure to check out our exclusive interview with Wes Borland HERE.

Combichrist released ‘Making Monsters’ late September, so make sure to pick up your copy.

Bloody Disgusting Rock On The Range Report #4: Wes Borland of Limp Bizkit

For the final installment of Bloody-Disgusting at Rock on the Range 2010, I got the opportunity to sit down with Wes Borland, guitarist of Limp Bizkit and singer/guitarist/bassist/keyboardist/programmer/producer (whew!) of Black Light Burns. We spoke about Wes being back in Limp Bizkit, the status of the second Black Light Burns album and the influence of horror on him as an artist and a musician. Unfortunately, due to Wes being absurdly popular and everyone wanting an interview, we got cut a bit short. However, keep your fingers crossed as there might be more articles in the future coming from Wes! Check after the jump for the interview! READ MORE

Bloody Disgusting Rock On The Range Report #1: Being At ROTR 2010

MG 4530web Bloody Disgusting Rock On The Range Report #1: Being At ROTR 2010
This past weekend, I was in Columbus, Ohio for the 2010 Rock on the Range Festival which had bands like Godsmack, Three Days Grace, Rob Zombie, Limp Bizkit and more performing.  I spent most of my time with my photographer/videoperson Chrystal in the media tent, chatting with musicians like CJ from Drowning Pool, grabbing a minute with Chino from Deftones as well as all the guys from Taproot. I got interviews with Paul Phillips from Puddle of Mudd, ST1TCH from Mushroomhead and Wes Borland from Limp Bizkit, so check back each day for a new video interview exclusively here on Bloody-Disgusting.
With over 30,000 people at this years Rock on the Range (the most attended year since the festivals inception), the two-day festival was overall great success. The weather on Saturday was a mix of rain and sunshine, making the Jagermeister and the Kicker stage fields muddy and filthy, something the audience took full advantage of. Day one had Godsmack and Three Days Grace as the headliners with bands like Deftones and Drowning Pool drawing huge numbers during the three-stage exchanges. Killswitch Engage also drew an enormous crowd with people lining the stairs and rails of the stadium to watch the band.

Get A Taste Of LIMP BIZKIT’s Upcoming Album ‘Gold Cobra’

Either you love ‘em or hate ‘em… and judging by the comments left under this YouTube video previewing the new album, there are still surprisingly quite a few Limp Bizkit fans out there. The band plans on releasing ‘Gold Cobra’ in 2010 and will be the first album to feature the original lineup since 2000′s ‘Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water’.

Sounds like the same Limp Bizkit I remember from years ago, and I guess depending on your taste… that’s either a good thing or a bad thing. READ MORE

LIMP BIZKIT Announces Title For Comeback Album

Limp Bizkit announced that the title of their upcoming album will be “Gold Cobra”, and plan on releasing it sometime early 2010 via Interscope/Polydor.

Fred Durst had this to say back in June about the album… “It’s not going to be a watered down version of Limp Bizkit, it’s going to be a more explosive, more addictive, more driven version of Limp Bizkit.”
