Say whatever you will about the Canadians but apparently they know how to react after they’ve been arrested. In the video below, a man who was arrested and didn’t agree with his charges began singing Queen‘s iconic song Bohemian Rhapsody from beginning to end. He even went so far as to do a cappella of the parts that didn’t have lyrics.

Now, I’m not saying this was a bad idea. Hell, I think this is awesome! But singing a song where a line is, “Momma, just killed a man/Put a gun against his head/pulled my trigger, now he’s dead” when you’re under arrest and in a police car doesn’t exactly seem like the brightest of ideas. Know what I mean?

Black Label Society and Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde is releasing Bringing Metal to the Children: The Complete Berzerker’s Guide to World Tour Domination, a new book aimed at the younger crowd to instruct them on what life on the road is really like. The book will have personal anecdotes as well instructions for surviving the rigors of the touring lifestyle. You can preorder the book here.

To promote this book, Zakk has released a video where he appears to read excerpts from the book to several children. End result? A few of the kids don’t make it. Check it out below!

Much like the rest of the Internet, I’m a fan of cute animal photos/videos. Just because I love me some blood, gore, heavy metal, and Chris Brown bashing (I had to get that in there) doesn’t mean I’m not able to be seduced and wooed by the cuteness of the animal kingdom.

But when these interests collide, I’m made so happy that I could just burst with glee. Below, you’ll find a video of a bear headbanging in front of several children (who join along for a little bit) to the dulcet tones of Veil Of Maya‘s 20/200. A single tear of happiness just rolled down my cheek.

axisofawesome [LOL] Most Popular Songs Are All Actually The Same Song

Have you ever had that nagging feeling that you’ve heard a song before but you can’t place exactly where? Yeah, that happens to me all the damn time! Well, the comedy troupe Axis Of Awesome decided to put together a song that showed just how big of a phenomenon this is. By playing the same four chords over and over (changing the tempo at one point), they sing the lyrics to several of the most popular songs of the last 30-ish years. Now, they clearly changed the key for some of these songs, but the fundamental principal remains. Although I was laughing very hard, I was also somewhat depressed by this. Is this really all it takes to write music these days?

The Internet’s most reliable news source (sarcasm) The Onion is reporting that Beyoncé is being forced to give up her new baby girl, Blue Ivy, to Grisora, the witch that granted her fame and success when Beyoncé was just a young girl. The RnB singer gave birth to the child a few days ago with father Jay-Z in attendance. According to the news report, Jay-Z reportedly offered the witch a room full of gold to keep her at bay. Alas, the offer was denied. It should also be noted that the witch Grisora bears a striking resemblance to the gypsy woman from Drag Me To Hell.

I said it almost a year ago: animals can be amazing metal singers! And yet another amazing example has come to my attention. Sure I already mentioned dogs in my article but this fella deserves a special shout out. After the jump, you can watch a dog lose its damn mind when being shot at with a water pistol. Add in some Meshuggah into the background and the stage is set for some hilarity.

Okay, it’s Monday, which took me a while to figure out since Rebecca Black never taught me the days after Sunday. As a result, I wanted to give people a chuckle to start the week. Queue WhoMadeWho and their video for ‘Every Minute Alone‘. I can’t tell you why, but it made me laugh quite heartily. The song comes off their upcoming mini-LP, ‘Knee Deep‘, which comes out April 26th.
