Rush To Be Inducted Into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame
Canadian progressive rock band Rush has officially been announced as one of the inductees into the 2013 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. They are joined by Heart, Albert King, Randy Newman, Public Enemy, and Donna Summer in the “Performer” category while in the Ahmet Ertegun (non performer) category you’ve got Lou Adler, and Quincey Jones.
Rush have technically been eligible for this since 1999, which was their 25th anniversary year.
Singer/bassit Geddy Lee commented, “It’s a terrific honor and we’ll show up smiling.”
Guitarist Alex Lifeson states, “I think at the end of the day, really, what this is about is making our fans feel like their support has been worthy.”
Congratulations to Rush! They definitely deserve it! READ MORE
