More Eye-Pleasing Imagery in Screen Gems’ Full Trailer for Tokyo Pop Adaptation ‘Priest’

Considering how f*cking terrible Scott Charles Stewart’s Legion was, it’s incredibly difficult to be excited for his vampire adaptation Priest. Yet, I find my eyes extremely attracted to the footage presented in both trailers. It kind of looks like Matrix meets Resident Evil meets Dark City. Am I being fooled? Probably. I guess we’ll know on May 13th when Sony Screen Gems releases the flick starring Paul Bettany, Cam Gigandet, Maggie Q, Karl Urban and Lily Collins. An adaptation of a TokyoPop comic book, the story is set in a world ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampire and follows a warrior priest who turns against the church to track down a murderous band of vampires who have kidnapped his niece. The probably PG-13 thriller is being released in fake post-converted 3-D.
