Scott Snyder’s “Swamp Thing” recalls the eerie atmosphere of Alan Moore’s run in the 80s while infusing it with the modern ideal of longer arcs and spread out storytelling. “Swamp Thing” is one of the best horror comics being produced right now, period. At first I was a bit skeptical that “FEAR ITSELF: FEARSOME FOUR” would just be another random hodgepodge of under performing characters from the Marvel Uni to try and pull in a few extra dollars for the publisher, but consider my skepticism quenched.
