I would love to see an awesome Mass Effect movie. In fact it’s been a while since I’ve seen a good video game movie, someone needs to deliver one to my eyeballs. I heard the Uncharted movie was scrapped. PHEW. Dodged that Mark Wahlberg disasterpiece. Trailers like the one below, and the incredible Halo: Reach live action trailer show us that it is entirely possible to make an epic and amazing video game movie. I just don’t understand why it isn’t happening.

Mass Effect 3 is close. Very close. If you haven’t already downloaded the demo, I strongly recommend it. I haven’t played the campaign portion of the demo, but I have played a lot of the multiplayer, and it’s awesome. It plays very much like horde in Gears Of War. Though I still prefer horde to Mass Effect, I’m still having tons of fun playing it. It’s probably the main reason I’m going to get the game.
I thought the trailer above was a Pixar movie at 1st haha. Mass Effect 3 comes out March 6th on the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. READ MORE
There is no doubt that the Mass Effect series is one of the best out there. But there is something that is often overlooked. The fact of the matter is Female Shepard is way more kick ass than Male Shepard. I don’t hate Male Shep by any means, but Fem Shep is just way more badass. Though I haven’t gotten much into the series just from watching it played a ton by friends and watching videos, Fem Shep has the upper hand.

Games are slowly starting jump on the Kinect bandwagon. Not so much for it’s touchless capabilities, but for voice commands. Halo: Anniversary uses voice commands, which I am too lazy to deal with, and now Mass Effect 3 will be as well. Check out how smoothly it seems to work below.
Don’t forget the demo comes out on the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 on Valentines Day. READ MORE
I must admit, I started Mass Effect 1, but didn’t get very far. I was fairly bored, and got tired of walking. I mean, I have asthma and I’m lazy. So it was inevitable. I’ve heard nothing but awesome about Mass Effect 2, so I think I’ll start there. But from what I’ve seen so far Mass Effect 3 is going to take the cake. Eat it, then shoot the remains out into space.
The demo releasing this Valentines Day will be downloadable on the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. Yes, all 3 at the same time! No waiting if you have one or the other. The demo starts with the Reapers attack on Earth and the opening sequence of the game. So if you can’t deal with starting the game off and not being able to just keep going, you might be better off holding out until the game comes out. READ MORE
If you’re an avid gamer that gets games from retail locations such as the Game Stops, Best Buys etc etc, you know that pre order bonuses have become a regular thing. You might have also noticed that Game Stop usually has the upper hand in the matter.
In general if you pre-order Mass Effect you get the M55 Argus Assault Rifle. However, if you pre-order from Game Stop or EB Games (I didn’t even realize they still existed)then you get the N7 Warfare Gear which includes N7 Defender Armor, Valkyrie Rifle, AND the M55 Rifle. Game Stop is the clear choice. READ MORE

Homesick for the Normandy, that is. The Mass Effect series is easily one of my favorites; the story, characters, powers, and world that BioWare has created are all incredibly impressive and I just can’t seem to get enough of it. I’m like a Mass Effect junkie at this point, but a proud one at that. With Mass Effect 3, the world, or in this case, worlds, that many of us have grown to love over the last two games have officially been plunged into war. I remember how difficult it was to take out a single reaper, requiring many of the galaxy’s races to come together to take it out, so the thought of hundreds of Reapers invading seems utterly hopeless. Fortunately, we have Commander Shepard, and he/she is capable of pretty much anything.
Mass Effect 3, the end of Shepard’s trilogy (though you can bet they’ll keep the brand going through spinoff’s and/or another series), is due out on March 6th, 2012. If there wasn’t already so many fantastic games waiting to jump into my open arms this year such a long wait would be painful, but we can make it together. READ MORE
Are you all screen’d out yet? No? Good, because I have another batch of ‘em for your viewing pleasure. Apparently, E3 is good for gamers and screenshot fetishists. Mass Effect 3 would’ve been one of my most anticipated games of this year, top three easily, but since it’s been pushed into March 6th 2012, I suppose I’ll have to get my kicks with the five billion other fantastic titles waiting to jump into my open arms this year.
For the uninitiated, Mass Effect 3 picks up not long after the second game (and almost right after Mass Effect 2′s Arrival DLC), where the Reapers have decided it’s high time to start blowing shit up. Chaos ensues. Check out some rather tasty looking screens, located in that realm of nothingness that you too can enter when you click that little ‘read more’ button.
Clearly Electronic Arts is a large company. Clearly they are going to be showing some major games at E3. Clearly. Some games that specifically interest me, and hopefully you readers, would be Mass Effect 3 and Battlefield 3. Other than that, there is a whole shit ton of sports games. Past the break for the list fools. PEACE.
All I have for you is this amazing piece of space art from Mass Effect 3. And if you head past the break you can see a screen shot. While they do focus mostly on the male Commander Shepard, my friends and I all agree the female Shepard is where it’s at. Enjoy. Mass Effect 3 should be out around Christmas time for the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.

It’s understandable if you missed the awards show this year, perhaps you were busy reading a particularly interesting book, watching a good movie or simply had better things to do. I don’t blame you for having a life but it’d be a shame to miss out on all the goods this year’s VGAs had to offer. Many we expected, some were rumored and a few managed to surprise (Elder Scrolls V!).
