Sales Art For ‘The Paranormal Diaries: Clophill’ Takes The Rustic Approach

Zombie Diaries directors Michael Bartlett and Kevin Gates are back with The Paranormal Diaries: Clophill, which now has some sales art for its Cannes Marketplace outing. Michael Bartlett, Kevin Gates and Craig Stovin star.

In March 1963, a Black Mass was held in the ruined church at Clophill, Bedfordshire by a coven of dark witches. Tombs were looted, animals sacrificed and human bones arranged during a macabre ceremony. Further defilements continued at Clophill in the following years and disturbing sightings of paranormal activity have been witnessed at the isolated ruin ever since.

50 years on from the original incident, the events at Clophill have remained etched on the psyches of the local populace and for the first time, a documentary team was assembled to investigate the legend of the witches and to uncover the truth behind the paranormal events.

‘Zombie Diaries’ Director Heads Deep ‘Within the Woods’

The Zombie Diaries, Zombie Diaries 2, pictured, and The Paranormal Diaries: Clophill director Michael Bartlett is getting back behind the camera for more horror, this time heading Within the Woods, Bloody exclusively learned.

Within the Woods is being described as a darker coming of age story in the vein of Stand By Me meets Halloween and Assault on Precinct 13, it was explained to us. The horror begins mid-winter and follows two teens trapped within an old treehouse within the woods that’s under attack from unseen entities.

Bartlett is bringing BAFTA nominated Production Designer, Tony Noble (Moon) to the project. Cinematographer Christopher J. Campbell (The Signal) also joins.

Shooting is to take place this coming January in Missouri.

Zombie Diaries 2: World of the Dead (VOD/limited)

On DVD October 11: Three months have passed since a viral outbreak wiped out 99.9% of the world’s population, turning its victims into flesh-eating living dead. In the UK, a surviving band of soldiers and civilians have taken refuge at a rural military barracks. Life is tough, but hope appears when a high level communication is received from a military base on the coast, telling of sanctuary elsewhere in Europe.
