The film is about Dwight McCarthy planing to have his vengeance against the woman who betrayed him, Ava Lord, while Nancy is trying to cope with Hartigan’s death.

Academy Award nominee Josh Brolin (No Country For Old men, Gangster Squad) has been cast as “Dwight” in the Frank Miller/Robert Rodriguez-directed Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.
Dwight is one of the favorite characters from Miller’s books and the 2005 film. In “A Dame To Kill For,” Dwight is hunted down by the only woman he ever loved, Ava Lord, and then watches his life go straight to hell. Chronologically, this story takes place prior to “The Big Fat Kill” and explains how Dwight came to have a dramatically different face. The “Dame”has yet to be cast.
He joins Joseph Gordon-Levitt, added yesterday to play the role of Johnny, alongside Christopher Meloni, Mickey Rourke, Clive Owen, Jaime King, Rosario Dawson, Michael Madsen, Jessica Alba, Jamie Chung and Dennis Haysbert.

Surprise! Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Looper, 50/50) will be taking a lead role in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Per Deadline he will “play the role of Johnny, a part that the filmmakers originally offered to Johnny Depp. He’s one of the core characters in overlapping story lines…” I kind of hope they change his name to “Joey” or something so we won’t always be reminded that he wasn’t the first choice for the part.

Jaime King (pictured; Silent Night, Mother’s Day, My Bloody Valentine 3D) and Jamie Chung (The Hangover Part II) have boarded Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, which began shooting on Monday in Austin, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Robert Rodriguez is directing the movie with Frank Miller, the comic book icon who created the “Sin City” comics that were published by Dark Horse in the 1990s. Rodriguez and Miller teamed up for the stylish 2005 hit adaptation. Rodriguez and Miller wrote the script for the new movie, which is a combination of comics storylines and a new one written specifically by Miller for the movie. One of the storylines being adapted is “A Dame to Kill For,” originally published in 1993 and featuring a man named Dwight entangled in a complicated and deadly relationship with a femme fatale named Ava.
Many of the original castmembers are returning for the sequel, including Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba and Rosario Dawson. (Rourke’s character Marv was killed by electrocution in the first movie but the Dame’s story takes place before and after that film’s events.) King played the golden-haired prostitute Goldie in the first movie and returns to play her twin sister, Wendy. Chung is stepping into the heels worn in the first movie by Devon Aoki, the katana-wielding, roller-skating assassin Miho. The character plays a key role in helping Dwight locate the double-dealing Ava.
An October 4, 2013 date is still set.
Sure he died in the first Sin City (via electric chair), but that won’t stop Robert Rodriguez from resurrecting ol’ Marv.
Website DL reports that Mickey Rourke is now in negotiations to make a return trip to Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, the Robert Rodriguez/Frank Miller sequel. He’ll reprise his role of Marv, the hulking tough guy with a soft spot for women.

Michael Clarke Duncan, Angelina Jolie, Rosario Dawson, Michael Madsen and Jessica Alba are all said to be returning.
I think my favorite line is, “I can’t believe you just said that!”

The latest creation from visionary indie director Douglas Elford-Argent, The Brazen Bull is an ice cold tale of misguided ambition and savage revenge. Set in the bowels of an iconic derelict Los Angeles high-rise, we follow Lauren and her real-estate investing fiance as they discover first hand what happens when a madman leads not with emotion, but rather chilling rationality. The Man in question, played by Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, Donnie Brasco) brings a heaping helping of sanity and jet-black humor to the crazy table. The result is a wonderfully off-kilter horror/thriller that never goes where we expect, but rather draws the audience deeper into a surprising world that has dark corners even in the brightest rooms.
A stranger armed with a shotgun who takes seven patrons hostage at a remote roadside diner. As the body count rises, the survivors discover that one of the hostages might be more dangerous than their captor.
On a deserted back road in Alabama, Jack and Stephanie find themselves driving fast and running late. Their world suddenly changes when a strange accident leaves them stranded with no car, no cell phone coverage, and no help in sight. They have no choice except to continue on foot. As darkness approaches, they round a bend and see a small sign at the top of a long gravel driveway: The Wayside Inn.
The exhausted couple stands in front of an inviting house, complete with gated stone wall, ancient oak trees, and a note welcoming weary travelers. Inside they find another couple with an equally troubling story about a similar accident. It seems that backwoods pranksters have made their day miserable. Still, they are safe… Or so they think.
Larry Bishop takes on a third role as Pistolero, head honcho of the Victors, a group of badass bikers who are out to avenge the murder of one of their members at the hands of the 666ers, a rival gang whose actions live up to their hellish moniker. Along with his cohorts, the Gent (deviously portrayed by Michael Madsen) and the mysterious Comanche (Eric Balfour), Pistolero aims to take down the Deuce and Billy Wings, menacing leaders of the 666ers, but a mutiny looms on the horizon when his commitment to profit is questioned by a few of his fellow Victors. An even larger story unravels when previously unknown information about Comanche resurrects ghosts from Pistolero’s past.
