‘The War Z’ Has Returned To Steam After Forced Removal

That’s right. Perhaps the most controversial game of 2012, The War Z has returned to Steam after it was
removed by Valve when fans realized it didn’t have the features it promised. Two months later and like a particularly feisty zombie, it’s back and hungry for your brains — err, money. If you’ve been waiting for The War Z, it’s patched and ready for you. Before you get your wallet out, you should know it’s awful.

‘The War Z’, Zombie MMO Is Coming This Fall

The War Z snuck up on us just like the shambling corpse of one of your dearest friends who owes you money, and that you have no reservations about putting a bullet betwixt his or her eyes. The War Z is an open world zombie MMO through and through. It’s almost as if Dead Island and The Secret World got it on and got really freaky and out came this glorious zombie baby. The game was only announced 2 short weeks ago and the closed beta instantly filled up. The nice thing about such a late announcement is that I don’t have to sit around for an entire year pining over the game. Head past the break for some awesome screenshots and more info.

Finally, A Kickstarter Project For Horror Fans

Ever since developer Double Fine Productions used Kickstarter to fund their next game and received over $3 million in donations, several game studios have jumped on board to see if they could get similar support for their projects. Wasteland 2 is another game that’s received an insane level of support, having recently passed $2 million in donations from the very charitable gaming community. Until now, there hadn’t been a single horror game among the ever-growing catalogue of video game projects on Kickstarter. Now we have The Dead Linger, a zombie mmo in development at Park City, UT based Sandswept Studios. Read on for a video and more info. READ MORE

Step Aside World Of Warcraft, There Is A New MMO In Town

The Secret World has been on my radar for a while now, but it has been in development for many many years. I haven’t yet gotten into any online MMOs, but this one is looking like it is going to be my 1st. The thing that sets The Secret World apart from just about all other MMOs, is that there is no linear path for your character. Watch the video below to find out exactly what I mean.

As you can see you have limitless possibilities. And from the variety of characters you can see throughout the video, I’m assuming there will be some sort of massive character creation. Screens and more past the break. READ MORE

Post-Apocalyptic MMO ‘Fallen Earth’ About To Get A Whole Lot Heavier

Post-Apocalyptic MMO ‘Fallen Earth’ has teamed up with Nuclear Blast Records, who will provide players with Nuclear Blast Radio, which will stream songs from bands such as Meshuggah, Soilwork, and Testament. Also being added into the game is a new underground bunker bar (I’d definitely go to that place for drinks were it real). The tracks will cycle out periodically, making sure that players never get bored of blasting out those tunes.

Anarchy Reigns Trailer Looks Like Chainsaw Flailing Fun

Platinum Games, the team that brought us the fantastic, if not a little sexist, spectacle fighter Bayonetta as well as the more recent knee-gliding shooter Vanquish have unveiled their next game. It’s friends call it Lucy but you can call it Anarchy Reigns and it’s exciting because it’s potentially the first of its kind. Anarchy Reigns, known as Max Anarchy outside The States, is a “massively multi-player beat-em-up” that includes a familiar face for anyone who played Platinum Games’ first title, MadWorld.

1 Anarchy Reigns Trailer Looks Like Chainsaw Flailing Fun

In the brand spanking new trailer that you can check out past the jump you’ll see MadWorld’s Jack doing what he does best, looking like a badass as he nonchalantly waves a massive chainsaw. Not much is known about the game yet but it’s a safe bet we can expect some fresh news to come out around E3 (June 7-9). READ MORE
