12 Stones And I See Stars Added To Rockapalooza Festival

On June 23rd, in Jackson, MI, the Jackson County Fairgrounds will see six (yes, you read that right) stages full of a variety of musical artists, from headliners Puddle of Mudd to rapper Coolio to hard rock band Bobaflex, and a ridiculous amount more. It has also been confirmed that 12 Stones has been added to the Monster Energy stage and I See Stars will headline the National Guard Stage. The event is being hosted by Jackass stars Bam Margera and Brandon Novak.

There will also be a free all-ages show on Friday, June 22nd, which will be headlined by Mushroomhead.

Mushroomhead and Hed. P.E. will be teaming up for a full US tour with support coming from Better Left Unsaid. The tour is slated to start April 15th and runs through June 10th (!!!), so there are plenty of stops for all you fans. Check out the tour dates after the jump!

I’m pretty tempted to go out to either the Emerald Theater or Machine Shop shows. Any BD readers wanna convince me that I need to go?

Mushroomhead’s latest music video, ‘Come On’ (off their new album, ‘Beautiful Stories For Ugly Children), has been banned from all TV outlets for scenes of graphic violence and it’s “fight club” style. But as you know, just because something is banned on TV, it doesn’t mean you can’t see it, thanks to the wonderful powers of the Internet! Check it out below and let us know what you think (it’s best to watch it in HD).

Apart from bonding over our love of Silent Hill (Check out that badass tattoo! He tells me it’s not finished, but even still, it’s awesome), we spoke about touring, the new album, frustrations over the music industry and the influence of horror on ST1TCH and Mushroomhead. MG 4530web Bloody Disgusting Rock On The Range Report #1: Being At ROTR 2010

This past weekend, I was in Columbus, Ohio for the 2010 Rock on the Range Festival which had bands like Godsmack, Three Days Grace, Rob Zombie, Limp Bizkit and more performing. I spent most of my time with my photographer/videoperson Chrystal in the media tent, chatting with musicians like CJ from Drowning Pool, grabbing a minute with Chino from Deftones as well as all the guys from Taproot. I got interviews with Paul Phillips from Puddle of Mudd, ST1TCH from Mushroomhead and Wes Borland from Limp Bizkit, so check back each day for a new video interview exclusively here on Bloody-Disgusting.

With over 30,000 people at this years Rock on the Range (the most attended year since the festivals inception), the two-day festival was overall great success. The weather on Saturday was a mix of rain and sunshine, making the Jagermeister and the Kicker stage fields muddy and filthy, something the audience took full advantage of. Day one had Godsmack and Three Days Grace as the headliners with bands like Deftones and Drowning Pool drawing huge numbers during the three-stage exchanges. Killswitch Engage also drew an enormous crowd with people lining the stairs and rails of the stadium to watch the band.
