Fans can stream the Milwaukee performance of the “Panic Over North America” tour on Friday July 23 for free! The show will feature Swedish melodic deathers Soilwork, San Francisco Bay Area thrash legends Death Angel, Quebec’s tech-death masters Augury, pirate themed thrashers Swashbuckle, and The Crinn. The stream will start at 5pm Pacific / 6pm Mountain / 7pm Central / 8pm Eastern.

Guitar World magazine has posted an interview with guitarist Peter Wichers, of the Godfathers of Swedish modern metal Soilwork. In the video Wichers breaks down riffs from their new album The Panic Broadcast and talks about his gear and influences as a guitar player.

SOILWORK, are currently working on a music video for the song “Deliverance Is Mine” to be directed by Ivan Colic (Ex Deo, Type O Negative, Unleashed) and produced by Stanimir Lucik.

The Panic Broadcast is the first album to feature original guitarist, songwriter & producer Peter Wichers since his return to the band in 2008 and is set to be released on July 2 (Europe) and July 13 (N. America) via Nuclear Blast! Produced by Wichers and mixed by Jen Bogren (Opeth, Amon Amarth, Katatonia, Symphony X), this is the record long time Soilwork fans have been waiting for! Bloody-Disgusting is thrilled to exclusively premiere the video for ‘Emptiness Unobstructed’, the first single off of the new Nevermore album, ‘The Obsidian Conspiracy’! The video is directed by Nigel Crane (Lacuna Coil, Slipknot, Pitchshifter). Here is what singer Warrel Dane had to say about the shoot:

“Working with director Nigel Crane was a great experience. We spent a day walking around the white cliffs in Dover the day before the London show and we couldn’t possibly be happier with the end result. The live part was shot at the O2 Academy Islington in London and we only performed the song twice that night so we had to make these takes count, so we went all out. It was pretty amazing that most of the audience knew all of the words even though we were a number of days away from the album’s release. Thanks for checking this out and we hope you enjoy it.”

Warrel Dane (vocalist of Nevermore) will join SiriusXM Liquid Metal channel’s Jose Mangin on the air tonight at 8PM EST for a very candid and in-depth interview covering a plethora of topics including how this new album came together, working with Dave Mustaine, horror movie recommendations and reforming the legendary Sanctuary line-up. Fans will also get treated to a few new tracks off The Obsidian Conspiracy, which have yet to be played anywhere else.

Dane further states: “The Obsidian Conspiracy is finally here. I know it seems like a long time between records but for us it doesn’t seem that long. Mutiny Within continue to live their lives on the road, converting one fan at a time to their modern blend of progressive metal the old fashioned way: through lots of touring. It’s going to be incredibly busy spring and summer seasons for the New Jersey band, which released its self-titled debut in February, who will pound the pavement alongside Sonata Arctica, beginning April 2. The tour will run for four weeks. The six-piece will follow up the Sonata Arctica trek with a spate of dates that will be announced imminently, so stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

Next, the band will join Soilwork on that band’s summer tour, which kicks off July 14 and runs through August 15.
