Rammstein To Release Explicit Video For “Mein Herz Brennt” This Friday

German industrial metal band Rammstein will be releasing an explicit video for “Mein Herz Brennt” this Friday here. The website has a ticking clock counting down the release. The decrepit building has several shattered windows that will glow red if you click on them (the hospital “plus” symbol does the same”. The bell in the steeple turns the sound on and off. All in all, it’s a rather eerie website.

While the song originally appeared on the album Mutter, a single of it was released today on iTunes that includes a piano version (watch the really unsettling video below), four other versions and a new song entitled “Gib Mir Deine Augen”.

The band will also be releasing a DVD/Blu-ray collection entitled Videos 1995-2012. Every music video they’ve released will be included on this collection as well as two new videos for “Mein Herz Brennt”. Pre-orders are available here. READ MORE

Rammstein Announces New DVD/Blu-Ray ‘Videos 1995-2012′

German industrial metal band Rammstein have announced that they will be releasing Videos 1995-2012 on Jan. 15th, 2013. This three DVD/two Blu-Ray set will include all official music videos that the band has shot over their career as well as two new videos for the song “Mein Herz Brennt”, which appeared on their 2001 album Mutter. The set contains over seven hours of material featuring 25 music videos, 24 behind-the-scenes clips of the making-of-the-videos and a 56-page booklet.

“Mein Herz Brennt” will see new versions of the song released on December 11, 2012 as a six-track digital single with booklet available exlusively through iTunes. The single package also inludes the previously unreleased track, “Gib Mir Deine Augen”. Fans can also purchase the two new videos via iTunes – one on December 11 and the other on December 18.

All I’ll say is that I’ll definitely be getting a copy of this. I LOVE Rammstein! READ MORE
