Legendary UK doom metal band My Dying Bride will be releasing their 12th studio album A Map To All Our Failures on Oct. 16th via Peaceville Records. The band will be doing a European tour in December to promote release as well as appearing at the Damnation Festival in November in the UK (where label Peaceville records will be a sponsor to celebrate their 25th anniversary).

Guitarist Andrew Craighan describes the album as, “a controlled demolition of all your hopes.”

UK doom metal legends My Dying Bride, to commemorate their 20th anniversary, will be releasing ‘Evinta‘. This project will take songs and themes from their catalog and rework them with into a new symphonic composition with brand new instrumentations and vocals from member Aaron Stainthrope. These arrangements have been done in co-operation with Bel Sagoth keyboardist Johnny Maulding and shared vocals come courtesy of opera singer Lucie Roche.

The album will be coming out May 31st in two formats, one being a two-disc CD and one a three-disc edition with a 64-page book inspired by the recordings of My Dying Bride over the last 20 years.

Conceived in June of 2009 by R. Loren (Pyramids), after a horrific encounter with the late Stephen Crane, this took many hands to birth. After traveling the world, the result could not possibly adhere any closer to the original vision. The debut, self-titled release from Sailors With Wax Wings will feature contributions from the following group of renowned artists:
