NeverDead Review: The Second Worst Game I’ve Ever Played

Now, to clarify before people start listing off terrible games, NeverDead is not the second worst game ever. It’s the second worst game I’ve ever had the misfortune of playing, and while that number might not include every game out there, as a game reviewer, it’s still a fairly impressive feat. I don’t want to bury the lead here, in case you’re not sure of what I think of this game, you should know that NeverDead is an unpolished, unforgivable mess. It’s the antithesis of fun, and deserves a spot right next to Duke Nukem Forever in the pantheon of games that simply shouldn’t exist.

New Neverdead Screens Show Off The Action, And The Weirdness

We’ve got our hands full of wacky games with Shadows Of The Damned being out, and Lollipop Chainsaw and Neverdead coming up. While Neverdead isn’t topping my upcoming game list, it still has me very interested. You play as an immortal and losing a limb in the game is no big deal. Technically he can’t die, so I’m kind of wondering how he will “die” during gameplay. Because most games let death happen one way or another.

Check out the trailer below, NeverDead still had no release date, but will be on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

E3: Konami Wants To Plague You With NeverDead

The makers of Silent Hill have decided to expand their horror offering with a new fantasy horror title called NeverDead. Sounds like a good name for a game containing hordes of zombies, and while there may very well be a couple of the shambling undead in there, NeverDead is set in the near future where supernatural forces and twisted creatures roam the world’s deserted cities.

This is definitely a game you should keep on your radar; it’s being headed by Metal Gear Acid designer Shinta Nojiri and it’s essentially a Devil May Cry style game set in a world filled with flesh hungry monsters and over-the-top-action. Oh wait. Check out an action packed bunch of screens after the jump. READ MORE
